Friend VS Best Friend

I have a lot of offline friends but I call them aquaintants more than friends. I have very few best friends, as you state them. I think a true friend would always be called a best friend. I think that we know more people that we should be calling aquaintants then to call them a friend because the true meaning of friendship is someone that will be loyal to you and always be there when you need them, and the same with you. Are you loyal to all your friends? Or just to some of them? So to me the meaning of best friend and friend is the same thing, just my meaning of a friend is different then yours. I know a lot of people and I may talk to them and see them often, but for me my discription is different than yours. Do you get my meaning of this?

Yes, I have a few best friends. Best friend and friends are quite different. When a friend comes to my home, I will offer the drink. If my best friends come to my home, they will go to get whatever they like by themselves.

I have friends. but at this moment i do not have any best friend. Whom i considered my best friend, chaeted on me and has broken my belief. best friend is one on whom you can fall for anything. he is one you can't forget throughout the life.

yeah..i do have best friends.. for some reason i have a lot of them.. i think a best friend is very much different with just a friend.. you can treat anybody as your friend..but your best friend would be someone you trust with the things in your life..with your secrets, with your opinions, and sometimes with your decisions..best friends love each other..so they build each other up to be the most awesome person they could be..

of course I have best friends and friends.... best friends are someone who are really close to us and always want us with them... they will sacrifice many things for you ... a friend is someone who is nice to us and really care for us but they wont be that close to us and committed..

To Me Friends and best friends are same their is no category of good friend, best friend, bad friend or like friend is friend the one u trust and rely on take care

I have my best friend, that i can share all my secret in life, my adviser when in need & advise,she will be there if im in trouble & i really trust here, friend for me is just one day you know her that still you cannot trsut here, it not easy to trust a person even you know here already in 3 or 4 years, & you will feel who is your really best friend not just a friend.

hi juliana! ^__^ i have a bestfriend. and i think a friend is different from a bestfriend. a friend would be someone just like an acquaintance but you consider close to you and important to you. you can tell them anything but not everything. a bestfriend is someone you trust with all your heart. a bestfriend is the person closest to you and most important friend you have. you can tell her everything because you are sure that she won't betray you. you love her like a sister and you want to have her as a bestfriend forever. ^__^

A best friend is someone who lives within your heart and you live within their heart. You can share things with a best friend that you could not share with just a friend. Their is a very special bond between my best friend and me. I know when she is feeling bad without her calling me and letting me know. My best friend and I consider ourselves sisters of the heart. I have only one best friend but I have others that are just friends. I would never tell them the deepest things in my heart. I keep in contact with them but not like I do my best friend. I do not consider friend and best friend the same. A best friend is much closer with you than just a friend.

I do have friends and I do have a best friend. to me, a best friend is someone you can openly share anything with, for instance, your deepest darkest secrets. A friend is just someone you may have many things in common with, enjoy hanging out with, but you wouldn't share secrets or problems in your life with.

Being that since the last 16 years my life has been caring for a daughter with cerebal palsy and not able to get out much I don't really have that many friends so I don't know that I myself would know the difference between a friend and best friend. No more than I've been able to get out the only friends that I have are ones I've met online. There are some of those I would say are better friends than others but I still don't think I'd give any of them the term best friend.

i do have a bestfriend.friends and bestfriends has it similarities but bestfriend goes the extra mile..a friend is one that you can hangout with..watch movies play a sport sometimes you meet them through famalies..at school..at work..bestfriends as well,but a bestfriend knows you more than anyone else does they know what the look on your face means..they know what a certain tone of voice is saying. a bestfriend puts themselves on the line for you even if it means losing other friends cause they have your interest at heart. a friend would ask can i tell you something? but a bestfriend says we have to talk.

i hav lots of frends but i do not hav any best friend....though i don hav best friend but i noe tat it different from friends....i believe tat when i meet someone tat i can share secrets, will miss him/her ,will be happy being him/her, when sad will think of him/her, he/she will be my lifetime best friend...it easy 2 find friends but hard 2 get a best firend
