So tell me how much water do you really drink everyday? Be honest. I know I don't drink enough water every day. Some days I just can't seem to drink it. I don't always like it since it has no taste. I probably only drink, on average, about 3 glasses a day. Some days, if it's hot out, I may drink 8 glassses but then other days I may only drink 1. Now I heard recently on the news, that the doctors are now saying too much water is no good either. They say too much water just drowns your kidneys. What next? It is so hard to believe anything anymore. One day they say something is good for you and the next they say it's not so good for you. Anyways, how much water do you really drink a day? Please share.

I'm terrible about drinking water, I'm lucky if I get 3 full glasses in a day. Drinking water is good for you in that it does help flush your body of the bad stuff, which helps your kidneys and helps prevent bladder or urinary infections. Did they say how much was too much? -Tink

Oh I wanted to say too that I prefer a drink with flavor and those single serving powdered flavor drinks like the Kool-Aid singles and Crystal Light singles are good. I just don't like all the dye they add. Wish they would make them without the coloring added.

Yes, they said any more than 8 glasses was too much, and they included drinking coffee and tea and juices. Anything with water.

I know that i need to drink atleast seven glasses of water a day but during winter seasons i dont think i manage more than five altough in summers the quantity is surely more than this. I have always heard that water is good for health and this new rescearch seems to be contradictary. I dont think that kidneys find it hard to manage extra liquid intake.

I probably do not drink as much as I should, but I know that I drink more than I use to, which for me is good. I use to hate the taste of water, now I look forward to drinking it. I have a measured bottle, so I would say that I drink about 48oz. a day.

I know that I do not drink near enough water throughout the day. In fact i drink almost no water at all. The majority of my liquids come in the form of coffee, and diet coke. I think that coffee is a dehydrater isnt it? I know that I need to start drinking more water, but I always grab the diet coke instead.

there was a time when i got so addicted to coffee that i would drink it more than 5x a day. i had trouble sleeping after. so my doctor advised me to drink water instead of coffee whenever i feel the urge to drink coffee. i consume a lot of water in a day now. and it has made me very healthy. it acted like a detoxifier for me. i always get a dry mouth or throat so drinking water also helps in keeping my whole system moisturized.

I heard that we are suppose to drink like 8 glasses a day? Then I heard that is not necessary. I definately don't drink that much water. I drink coffee, diet pepsi, sometimes iced tea, lemonade, flavored water etc. Drs i guess don't count the liquid stuff when they ask about the water. I have gone through fazes where water out of the bottles "if they are cold" taste really good. Crushed ice is one of my things also. Thats water. Right?

I drink on average 3 a day of water, more if it is in the summer months and really hot out then I pratically guzzle it and drink high as a gallon a day. I know water is good for us and some doesn't like the taste but that is why they have flavored waters out and vitamin flavored waters. Some bottled waters I just can't stand to stomach and so I either stick to the ones I like or use a water filtration kit I just recently bought to drink my daily water supply.

I always keep a bottle of cold water on the desk beside me, mainly because I can't trust myself to have mugs of coffee or chocolate on my desk for fear of knocking them over, and yes I have done! I like my water cold it's more refreshing. I don't drink as much water as I used to when I go to the gym every day when I would easily consume 2 litres. I put ribena in my water sometimes I am not sure if that counts as water when you flavour it? Sometimes you can't win, professionals say too much water is bad other says the more you drink the better your body will be! Too much conflicting advice, I say everything in moderation.

I drink lots of water. I take a couple of gulps every 30 minutes. I'm okay with it not having taste as long as it is ice cold water it feels good in my mouth, especially living in a tropical country like ours.

I drink about a gallon a day. I think more than that would probably be too much. I love water. Well,, I don't like it room temp. I drink it cold. I have a sports bottle that I fill with ice first and then add water. After I add the water, I shake the bottle to get it really cold and then I drink it.

well, I believe I drink little water everyday. yes, not enough water. when it is working times, I have always forgotten to drink. and wow, too much water just drowns our kidneys? are you serious? I think most people say that don't drink too much at once, but drink often. most of us (I mean, people in my area) always drink rarely but when we drink we will drink a lot at once. the doctors here say that habit will cause burden towards the kidneys and that's what I hear so far.

Maybe 4-6 glasses? I guess it kinda depends on the weather and whether I feel thirsty or not.

Honestly most days I do not drink any water. When I do drink water it is usually Propel or something that actually has some flavor. I so not like plain water.
