When my children were a bit smaller, I bought them just about every single Disney movie that was released. Some of those movies we watched so many times that I had them memorized. As an adult I still love watching them and enjoy the characters. My favorite has always been Mary Poppins. I love the character, love the music in the movie and find the whole story absolutely charming. What is your favorite Disney movie or character?

All the characters to which you refer are classic Disney characters and will be around long after you and I are gone.

My favourite Disney character is one of the seven dwarves from Snow White! You know Sleepy! That is definitely me! I can definitely relate to him and I love those little dwarves, hi ho, hi ho hi ho it's off to work we go, and they'd be me Sleepy crashed out with the other animals happily blissfully unaware of what was going on! Or I could be a wolf, is there a character created by Disney as a wolf? Red Riding Hood is not Disney is it?

Red Riding Hood was Hans Christian Andersen I believe, as for a wolf hmmm. According to the web, Zeke the big bad wolf after the three little pigs is a Disney character. I thought it was an older tale than that.

I too, bought my children almost every Disney movie when they were young. Those movies went through four children and were played so many times that I'm surprised they didn't break! I suppose if forced to choose a favorite character (which is very hard...as I have so many!) I would say Baloo, the fun-loving bear from The Jungle Book! I love his message in that catchy, wonderful song entitled 'The Bare Necessessities' and his antics!

My favorite is Tigger, Tigger, and TIGGER. He is me and I am HE! Some people may recognize me if I say this, but when I lived in a dorm in college, I was the one who went to the mandatory schmooze meetings wearing tigger slippers and my not yet then hubby's long tailed dress shirt (yeppers, I took the shirt right off his back!) and carried my stuffed Tigger toy in one arm. Tigger is middle-aged now, but he is sitting right beside me next to the 'puter. They hadn't invented polyfill yet when he was born, so he is getting kind of lumpy but he is still my special guy.

Hi Deea. I am so glad to see you finally in a discussion and I'm really glad you joined this site. You really do get to know people alot more personally than on those "other" sites. LOL. I remember asking my first boyfriend to take me to see this movie on my birthday when I was 16. He thought I was crazy, but he went with me. Don't you just love the music in that movie?

My kids loved Finding Nemo, but that was one movie I wasn't as impressed by. Sometimes they build up films so much, that by the time you see them, they aren't as great as you thought they might be.

My children don't watch as many disney movies as they used to, but sometimes I still hear my son sing the theme song from Bob the Builder. LOL.

I think disney had a hold on a big chunk of my childhood. Their movies were everywhere. In the afternoon when I would come home they had the block of shows on for me. Chip and Dale rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, ducktales, and aladdin (oh! and goof troop). It was great. I could never get enough of these. Then they would also have the new episodes of these on saturday morning block on ABC. These were good shows with good morals and values. I am proud to say I watched them.
