For a school assignment I need to find out how to improve GMail. I thought about this all night but couldn't find anything google should change to make it even more appealing. So I come to you what do you think google should change to make gmail even better.
With kind regards,

one thing i've wished i could do would be to delete individual messages within a conversation without deleting the entire conversation. and by the same token to be able to print just certain messages not just the entire conversation. i hope that helps you with your assignment.

Hmm I never noticed I couldn't print my messages individualy and didn't know I couldn't just delete one from the chain. Guess because gmail want to save all messages it's not that easy to remove them ;). Thanks for this great reply

The filters system is really weak.
I check multiple email accounts with my Gmail account, and I notice that my rules for filtering are butchered at best, with certain rules overriding rules with no way to change them.
I'm not used to that, since I used to use a standalone email client before this, but made the transition since I needed much more access to my own mail.
I'd like to be able to stack filtering orders so that things happen in a particular order, and also be able to apply more filter rules, such as "Remove Label:", "Report as Spam", etc.

I agree with the first three, folders, etc. It is good but there is nothing perfect!
