Can A Long Distance Relationship WorK ? If So, How?

I used to have a girlfriend in the Philippines. Unfortunately things didn't work out and we called it off. Now I'm thinking about starting another one but I'm hesitant. Other people gave me differing opinions. Some felt it can never work out while others say that it can. So can a long distance relationship work? What do you think?

it depends. it actually difficult than a same city relationship. the proximity is not there. but communication is the most important thing here. if communication is effective, there is trust, it can work very well.But sometimes one should meet in physical way.
