We all have things that we are passionate about in our lives, perhaps its our children, their upbringing, your grandchildren. Perhaps its is our job or our career and our pursuit of a stable income. Perhaps it is our beliefs, politically, religiously or otherwise. Perhaps it is our hobbies, playing music, scrapbooking, playing on the web, learning something new. We all have something we really like to do and are more passionate about than other things in our life. What is your passion?

Hello kbourgerie! My passion is movies! I love to watch, I love to see the "secrets" behind them and I'm actually making one next month! If I can take someone away from their present life for a couple hours and have them enjoy the universe I put them in...that's my passion! My happiness lies in their's, ya know? I don't think anyone truly knows the power in fulfillment until they've done something that seemed out of their reach days before!
Making a movie takes a real passion for the art itself, and dedication to see it through. You have to be motivated when your cast is not, unfailing when your crew wants to just give up, and have belief in YOUR vision when noone else does! It's tough emotionally sometimes, but when it happens...THAT'S magic!!! Thanks for this discussion! :)

I guess I would have to say that there are too many for me to list. I love to do tons of things, like scrapbooking, drawing, faux painting, camping, gardening,etc.... The list could probably on on forever.... Sometimes I wish I could live to be really old so I could fit everything I wanna do, into my life.
What is your passion? :o)

I have many also, my children, being on the computer, scrapbooking and other crafts and just trying to be a positive person.

It makes me wonder how many you own. And do you work on them also, or are you just an admirer?

My passion is writing. I have always wanted to become a published author. I have finished the sixth edit of what I hope will be my first published novel. I have to do another read-through, and I really need to find the time to do it - time without interruptions and distractions. I am going to a workshop on March 1st where there will be an agent looking for new talent. I want my manuscript polished and in hand that day. This is an opportunity of a lifetime. I also have another novel that needs a major overhaul and want to move onto that... not to mention one short story half-written and another idea for another novel. I want to go go go! I've waited too many years to sit back now.
Other than that, I love watching my kids play soccer. I love seeing them doing things they enjoy and being successful. It makes me proud and though sometimes I feel like I'm not such a great mom, there are other times when I realize I must be doing something right.

I understand writing. I like to do that also, and even began on a book a few months back, but seem to be at a standstill right now.

Reading is important. If you continue to read, your knowledge continues to grow.

Being retired, lol. I am pretty passionate about most of the things I do, which now that we are retired are mainly just those things we feel like doing! I like to sew, draw, write, paint, SHOP, go for nature walks, play online games, chat up myLot friends, and EAT! But learning something new is of course the biggest one. What about you?

Thanks for asking. My passions are being on the computer, finding things that challenge me, learning new things. Thats why I love the internet so much. Everything you want to know is right there at your fingertips. Our children certainly have an advantage.

Good answer. I think sports is a great passion for many and music can soothe every savage beast. LOL.

Great discussion kbourgerie, we all need to stop and reflect on what it is in our lives that gives us pleasure and consumes our energies. In doing this, we have a chance to make sure our priorities are in order! My passions are my children, my husband, nursing/healthcare and being a positive influence on those with whom I come in contact with daily. If I can make a positive impact on each person, if only by a smile, then I have achieved my goal. My mission each day is to smile at as many people as I can!

My number one passion in life is my 2 children first and foremost - they are the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me! i am passionate about not being the best mother ever but the best mother I can be! I want to ensure that they have a good grounding in life , that they have consideration for others and the world around them, good morals and that they are safe , happy and healthy! xxx

i think passion for my family, wife and my nephew is given. that's something we can't argue about. but passion for things that makes me really happy. it's the ARTS. everything about it. music, theatre, photography... i can grow old doing those things. when im working on an exhibit for my photos -- never did i find it stressful. coz it's something i enjoy doing.

I can see where art could be a passion. My boyfriend enjoys photography too and talks about it constantly. He used to own his own business and would like to restart it sometime soon.
