When you have Problems do you pray?

Hai marciascott welcome to mylot , ya i have red u are message its bad news for us and also some few people do this type of things ofcourse we need to be patient , if they make angery we should , we should control we should give them in smooth treatment to them. dont worry it goes way , i am meditator i have been doing meditaiton for a long time we have a group so we can heal you , we do healing prayers especially others , it gives good result my dear friend. if any suffering anything just intimate me i am able to heal for people thanku so much i am waiting u are reply..

That is all wrong for some of us, We just pray because we are facing Problems and we run to him and ask for answers and help us in every way he can. But the things is, Praying is not only asking for solutions in a problem to lighten up our burdens when it is heavy but To ask God and thank him for those challenges that he gives us. In some case we had all the answers in our cute lil minds or brains..but we cannot afford to thank sometimes if the answers were granted. Problems or without problems ..Praying Must be said anytime..anyday@!

I do pray everyday even when I do not have problems.But when there is a nagging problem I know the only place where I can pour out my heart is when I pray.I just remember to tell god I have placed my problems infront of you, you know what's best for me just help me tide over this difficult patch.The power of prayers is simply amazing.I would like to share a story which I came across recently.I would give it in short. A poor lady went to a grocery store and asked for some food and said she would pay later.Her husband was unable to work and she had seven children to feed.She kept pleading and she was refused.A customer standing nearby heard this and offered to pay for what she needed.Very reluctantly the grocer said if you have a list put it on the scales whatever it weighs i will give you that amount in groceries.The lady took out a paper scribbled something and put it on the scales.The grocer was amazed as the scales went down and stayed down.They could not believe their eyes and the grocer kept putting groceries until the scales would hold no more.The grocer grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it.There was no list.It was a prayer DEAR LORD,YOU KNOW MY NEEDS AND I AM LEAVING THIS IN YOUR HANDS. She gathered her groceries and left.Only God knows how much a prayer weighs that's the power of prayer. I feel good that I shared this information with you.Thanks for giving me an oppurtunity.God Bless

i pray most of the days. most of the times there are problems in my life. now since last few weeks very much problem has come. its regarding my dad's health. he was hospitalised with ulcers in food pipe. now they have taken biopsy and i am very much scared of the outcome. i opray most of the time to GOD that it comes as neagtive.

Yes, dealers are real bad about this, they want to charge a lot, and they want to put everything new,even if you don't need it! And some mechanics will also try to do the same thing! The only thing I can suggest is, try to find a friend that is a mechanic, or knows a mechanic that won't charge you outrageously! Or if you can go and visit some mechanic shops, and usually you can tell which ones will actually try to help ;you, or try to overcharge you!

No, i don't think praying works. I think you have to take action if you want something to happen. I don't think praying will fix your car, you need the money to get it fixed. Also, I think for your safety they have to checki it out, incase there'e something you haven't notided that's wrong with it.

Yes I do pray every day and often through out the day. I understand your frusteration about not having money to pay for needed things. Those Mechanics many overcharge on purpose and are very greedy. An alternator costs at parts store between $55 and $125 depending on the car make, model. Battery good die-hard $75 to $150, headlights $25-50 for a set, cable heads about $15.00 maybe $25 so the cost total is $350 on the high side. They of course are asking to have you pay for thier time and labor too. I would find someone you know well who fixes up cars as a hobby or side a good friend or family member you can trust and ask them to fix the car, look into the cost for each thing and how soon you need each fixed and work out some sort of trade or payment a little at a time to them. My hubby fixes all our cars and washing machines, dryers everything we save thousands of dollars this way and now my son in law fixes things too. We trade babysitting or other things if we need his help. Just some thoughts. We have some financial trouble we are putting in Gods hand too and cannot afford at all God is good and he will come through you have to believe.

Perhaps too much! I pray constantly but I do it fervently when I am in need of whatever to the point of feeling ashamed of being a beggard. I hope I am not as annoying as I think. LOL

i pray five times a day (that's minimum) while i do dzikr every time i remember & every time i have problem. dzikr is kind of meditation in islamic way. beside praying you still need to have your own effort to make everythings well.

Yes, I pray when I have problems and I try to figure out how to deal with it as soon as my emotions toned down. In your case, if you have already approached 6 mechanics, then you should have an idea of who is telling you the truth about the condition of your car. If you already know which parts need to be replaced or repaired, you can search the internet for the prices so that you'll have the idea how much it really cost. I think, its better to deal wtih one problem at a time. If you want your headlights repaired or replaced, then have it done first and then let them do the rest if you have enough money already.

I don't pray when I have problems because I haven't had much like doing that in the past. Or maybe I have and just didn't realize it at the time. Sorry to hear you are having such a tough streak.

Prayer is mandatory whether I have problems or not. I know for a fact that prayer works because I have prayed for many things and GOD stepped right in and worked them out in my favor. Some people don't pray because they say GOD seems to never answer their prayers. If those people really knew the LORD they would know that they first have to have FAITH and BELIEVE that GOD is going to work out their problems or bless them with what they need. Everybody wants GOD to hurry up and answer their prayers but GOD steps in when he's ready and he is only moved by FAITH so that's why prayers don't get answered. In the bible GOD say's he will NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU.

Yes, I always say a prayer whenever I have got a problem big or small. I know there's only One above who is more than willing to help me out. Sometimes the answer may not come right away but He knows just when to give it to us. By the way, I'm sorry to hear about your trouble with your car and the dealer. I'm sure he knew the problem before hand but chose not to tell you because all he wanted was to dispose of the car. What a cheat! I do hope your car got fixed.

I always pray whether I have problems or not. I am so sorry that you are still having car problems. I have been there several times here recently with our truck. They sure came up with alot wrong with your car. I would say give me the dang headlights also. Mechanics are ripoffs. I would only replace what you feel you have to have at the time and go from there. they just try to get alot of money from you and you may not even need half of those things they mentioned.

don't know much about car and car problems but I do a lot of meditation and simple yoga nothing fancy or difficult I simply ask the higher power to help myself and everyone else in our challenges my prayer is always answered although not always right away. I hope you can find affordable mechanic or at least find income source to cover the expenses
