I am glad I was offline just recently. I have dial up so if any calls come in they get a busy signal. I have signed up for many survey sites and got sick of the calls as of late. recently they've been all political surveys which I love. So I've been answering the phone a lot. Well the caller ID showed NW Surveys tonight so I answered it. It was a semi political survey dealing with Minnesota trasportation and the costs and effects of it on the States economy, enviroment and it's people in general. Now after abiout a 10 minute survey I was asked if I'd like top attend a question answer discussion/forum on this issue in March. I agreed to attend. Then I was given great info after giving them my name and address for a packet to be mailed to me. I will be paid $75 for my time transportation and parking etc for attending. Great to hear this. So do you participate in survesy like this over the phone? Have you ever been paid by any for your time to attend anything along the lines of a discussion forum? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Wow that is neat - I've done a few surveys but nothing like this and to be honest I don't like the calls so stopped doing the phone ones. I've made a few dollars from completing online surveys but most of them they end up telling me I don't qualify - after they've asked me 20 questions, I got burned out on them.

I was a member of inboxdollars several years ago - I was almost to payout and they closed my account - said I had the wrong id and password and to join... I use the same two for just about everything and know I did for them but they in my book stole my money owed me. I have heard others say they did the same thing but they must have changed some because I see a lot of people saying how great they are.

I got paid a few bucks for doing an hour chat about my cable repair (actually installed my cable phone.) I really liked the guy leading the discussion and we talked off the chat about things almost as much as during the chat.

Cool. I like doing things along these lines most times. Once I have a bad experience it turns me off from doing it again though for a long time. I hope I enjoy this. It's an 8 hour deal though. But there is free snacks and a free lunch so thats cool. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I am a member of one comapny that sends me to test foods for opinions. I haven't done that lately as they don't pay a lot to cover gas etc. Not worth it anymore I feel. But still get the emails with invites to go still. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I used to get a lot of phone call surveys, but none paid for my time. When I changed my phone number to silent ( after stupid phone calls from hubbys ex), I stopped receiving any. I think Australia survey companies will realise soon that the time has come to pay people for doing phone surveys here too. I bel;ong to one online survey company, that is just for Aussies, & they pay me in gift vouchhers of $10 or $20.. I belong to another worldwide survey group (available to any country that allows Paypal), & I have received $20 after 3 weeks, & am now due soon for another $20.00.

This call was a brief survery then I was invited to the forum to get paid. I think it depended on the responses given if one was invited to participate in it. Maybe looking for a certain politacal belief in this area to be there is why. Just my thioughts. Send me a link to the worldwide one via email please? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!`

I wish there are any surveys that would pay me here in my country grandpa Bob. But i haven't been asked not even once and i would have willingly participate even if its gratis. Anyways, glad that you got caught up in the survey with all the snow outside and with a hell of an internet connection which might make your day not pretty exciting.

well you are lucky. Lately survey companies have realised that they get beter cooperation if they offer something back so a lot of them do this. I have been paid few times and have recived some products as well. once I was asked to do this 15 min survey about a new drink I was paid $25 on the spot (this was in a shoping centre), then they gave me a drink to try it when I would normaly drink it (say if you drink ice tea which was the produc when you go to a park to have it there) then they called me to ask few more questions and send me another $20 and a box of the drinks and they told me to give them to people I know and fill a form for each person. I send them in and got $150. That was great.

Howdy Grandpa Bob, I belong to several surveys associations myself. I have done telephone interviews along with home product trials, They pay well when you are lucky enough to grab one. I was invited to one discussion once and I was enrolled, The meeting was in Nashville and the day of the event I had an unforeseen emergency at home so I was unable to attend. I was looking forward to it as it involved certain womens issues. I am hoping to get the chance again :)) Good luck with yours you are bound to enjoy it,.

Cool deal. I also get invites to food taste testing surveys near my home. But with the cost of gas now days the $5 or $10 they give aren't enough to cover gas yet alone parking. I am sure you've heard of the I35 highway bridge that collapsed in August here. Well this transportation forum is based on the needing of funds for road and bridge repairs and or replacements. So it's definitely a hot topic politically and I am excited to get involved in this forum. Thanks for taking time to respond also. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

hi webeishere, Yes, I have been paid from participating in a focus group that was arranged from some information I requested online. The focus group was arranged at a location in my hometown, verified online and by phone, and the meeting lasted about 2 hours. I was paid $75 cash when the meeting was over. It was a pleasant experience, snacks and beverages were offered, and the meeting was set right after the supper hour, so it was really no problem to arrange to participate in.

The only surveys I will do are online. IF I was asked to attend a forum, I might accept if the terms are to my liking. Like the $75 they will be paying you to attend.
