I am a very good listener, go ahead tell me all about it

To be a great listener is to care and show interest in whatsoever is being said. A really good trait to have. I currently am in close contact with someone whom doesn't hear what is said unless their ears have picked up some subject that is interesting to them.What a lot of differing things they are missing. I believe some where I read that listening is a skill, do you think so?????

ok i want to rant today coz i was not able to finish my work and tomorrow is the deadline for its submission. I want to rant because my parents are acting like a newly wed couple adjusting to married life when in fact they have been together already for 27 years. I want to rant because I have a lot of bills, I want to rant because your said youre a good listener.
