Ok since around Nov. of 2007 I have been introduced to this world of socail networking. I never had a Myspace account, so I had no idea of the appeal it had. Well in Nov. I found a site that was all about socail networking and it pays. Now I have joined 6 other sites that all claim to pay in one form or another. I have made some money, but nothing that really matters. What I find so apppealing is all the folks I have met, and all the opportunities I have been exposed to. I am learning new things daily, not only about my new found friends, but about myself as well. So whether I make money or not, I am quite sure I shall be enjoying this type of entertainment for years to come. So how do you social network? Why do you socail network?

As you know Deea, I have joined several too and initially it was for the money, but I have made for friends through social networking than I expected. Of all the sites I have joined, however, so far this is my favorite because its so much more personal than the others. The others are about promoting your business ventures, but this one you actually talk to people about your thoughts, your beliefs and your values. Its interesting to know what other people feel and go through on a daily basis. You can find some real connections with people here and thats why I suggested you join and thats why I am staying.

I can see that I shall enjoy this too, That was a big down side to some other places, how do you connect on a personal level. This is going to be fun, I love to read and write, although my spelling has gone to heck, hehehe. Anyway thanks for telling me , I like it alot already.

i too joined social networks for the money making oppertunity, and to try my hand at internet chat. i'm new to both. i also found that i'm making friends...some that i would like to get to know better. opening up to people that i can't see or meet is something i will have to learn as i go. plus i'm not good at putting myself out there with the written word...i gab better, and draw...;) anyway, i think i will like it here better too, cuz it seems more personal, which makes it more interesting i think...and more fun. plus i will make money to-boot...life is indeed good...

I social network through paid sites like this one and Yuwie as well as sites like bebo.com, facebook and friendster. I have found so many old school friends and family through these sites which is the main reason I have joined them. I did have a myspace page but cancelled it as it gets too much trying to keep up with the ones I am already on.

I also have a very hard time to keep up, with all the ones I have too. I know at some point I shall have to let one or two go. It is difficult because I have met some real nice folks in almost all of them. I also have a facebook account& Myspace. I rarely go to either , maybe once a month. But this one a am finding I really do enjoy, it is so much more personal, you can really get to know people here in time I bet.

I have never been on any other site like this other than Mylot...and at this point have no intention of going anywhere else. It is all I can do to maintain my goal of a response for every response on my site and to visit friends on theirs.
When a gal-pal encouraged me to get involved with Mylot I could not figure out why anyone would want to talk to a bunch of people they don't know. Being here quickly changed my mind about that. Within short order I realized that this community is full of interesting, caring, funny, intelligent people who genuinely care about each other and what is going on in the world at large. I have had countless invites to go elsewhere..but I am very satisfied with Mylot and the friends I have made here. During the time I have been a member I have exchanged e-mail addresses with about 10 people and I have enjoyed taking our Cyber friendship to another level. When I posted that I had a Blog Mylotters were very supportive of it and still are.
I love meeting people from all over the world and the fact that Mylot pays us to do something we like anyway is a lovely little perk as well. I would particpate in Mylot even if there were no earnings...but admittedly it is a fun 'kind with a piggy bank' kind of feeling for me.
I did open a page on Myspace but never go there. It has a very different feel to Mylot and I do not have the comfort level I do here. So my social networking experiences satisfy the writer in me because I have a chance to share ideas and have instant feedback about them. That is something many writers do not enjoy. My social networking...Mylot..Mylot...Mylot...and more Mylot. When something is working I stick with and do not spread my energies around..flip flopping is not my style.
Cheers...good to have you here...and happy Mylotting!

Raia, I am a person who has been socializing on the net for almost 10 years now, I use to belong to a womans group on MSN, I met some wonderful women there, but the group kind of dwindled away over the years and after many MSN changes. So I had been missing it, till I was introduced to a different site that pays to make friends a post comments,ect..
Now all kinds of these sites have formed, I have joined quite a few, I have made some nice friends through all of them as well, but I can already see that here there is a way to really connect and learn about people. I have always had a love for writing and reading, I also just like getting to know people all kinds of people. So thanks so much for the warm welcome and I am sure you will be seeing more of me here.

I use the social network MyVieWin. Have you heard about it? If you haven't, and would like to join as my referral, I have a link on my profile. I use social networks to try to make money and find referrals to other programs. I am not a fan to these types of websites and if it wasn't for the revenue sharing, I would stay away from them, which is why I do not have a MySpace account.

When a friend introduced me to myLot, I found it to be a perfect fit for me as I don't social network well in person.
In the myLot world, I can travel around to a wide variety of discussions where I am free to read and respond ... or read and move on. And I have offended no one if I do move on.
In the four weeks that I have been here, I have learned some amazing things, read many interesting views from many interesting people. I sometimes want to connect with them in the "real" world because I want to hear "The Rest of the Story".
And maybe someday I will connect with some.
But for now, myLot's social network is an amazing way of being connected.
