What Pc could i buy to Run Heavy Animation Purpose.

I like to take a pc that supports for future. I have a pc 2.4ghz processor, 845GV Cobin Mercury Mother board, 256mb DDR2 Ram, 40Gb HDD with configuration. i want to upgrade it. The new configration that iam looking to change is HDD to 160gb, 1Gb DDR2 Ram. or if i goto Asus Mother Board with inbuilt Graphic card of 512 Mb was my 2.4 Ghz Processor can sit on it.
