Interest in what you do

Don't Know why but am loosing interest in my life. I do every thing as a duty and am unable to take pleasure in what I'm doing. Truly, I don't have any major problems worth mentioning but only my attitude towards things. I pray God every day and many times to help me improve myself but always forget to put equal effort to do so. What can be the reason?

I think you need to find something that interests you no matter how small/simple it is. I don't know if I may sound a little weird but yo can try doing some kid stuff- life playing video games, reading comics, drawing, painting, watching cartoons, play with toys, bubbles, run around, stuff like that.. It is almost always in simple things that you remember what truly matters and that you were once a kid who knew how to entertain yourself. kids would normally play by themselves right? but still they're happy and excited to live each day. I hope you find happiness in your daily activities and be inspired to live another day.

Hi vsraovr.
Actually there is nothing wrong with your attitude or your body system. As you have done for what you wished and the way you wanted it to be. The only thing is the sequel motion of it. I mean, pray is 'hope', actually. So, it must be integrated with efforts. Your efforts must be strong because of 'your hope' as a vision.
A simple example is, your hope is to quench your thirst. Because of that kind of 'hope' that you had wished, so it make you stronger on putting efforts to bring water to your mouth. Hope cannot work alone without the presence of effort.
Just like our heart, it cannot make life and live without blood.

You need to be strengten in the inner man, when you make a decision, you need a staying power to execute it, a will power will go a long way in changing your habit,character,behaviour etc, so I'll suggest you take time out to meditate on those changes you require in your life. And say to yourself those things that you want to see changed.
