today is the day that there is so much hype around! i believe that i dont need one day to show my loved ones i love them...
but that being said, i did buy some candy for my kids and made a card for my hubby...
i heard on the news today that today is the most important day for the florist industry and can make or break their year!
soooooooooooo how much will you spend and what will you buy?

I've heard that about florists. Although I have a friend who is a florist and she always says that Mother's Day is busier.
Anyway, I got a small toy for my son, a DVD for my husband, and we'll be going out to dinner tomorrow. We don't spend a lot, and I've told him I don't want flowers or candy- flowers die and candy is fattening. I'd rather, if he gets me a gift, have it be something that will last and that is more practical. He is usually more about doing than giving. For example, he'll cook dinner to give me the night off, or run me a hot bath and take care of our son so I can have some peace and quiet. He knows that's the kind of thing I really appreciate. He usually writes his own card instead of buying one or writes a love letter.

I usually wait for my boyfrient at the bus stop after work for my company is nearer than his from home. But on Feb,14 he went home earlier than usual. I saw him holding the roses when I get off the bus. It was a surprise for me and I was so moved because this is the first valentine's day for us! Then we have supper together out which was also delicious! I felt very happy even though we just spent $20 or so.

Happy Valentines to you! But this is not a good day for me. My girlfriend promised me that she would come to see me today, she promised. And i planned to buy her roses and chocolates and anything she wanted.
But she didn't show up with only a short massage. She went to her Grandmother's home with her uncle.
I went to mad, This is not the first time that she gave me a promise and then she broke it with her 'reasonable ' reason, i hate this kinda of action.
I do love her, but this is not what i want-- breaking promises, you can't even break your promises to a stranger how come your lover?
I don't know what to do next, could you offer me some advice?
Have a nice day! Cher913

I'm ill and my boyfriend is busy writing a dissertation, so I won't be doing anything for valentines day so I wont be spending any money :D
I can see how valentines day would be important to florists, but I always though mother's day would be more popular...don't know why though/
