I just finished a great book that I wanted to tell everyone about. It is "Deadline" by Chris Crutcher. The story is about a young man who finds out he has an aggressive blood disease. He decides he is not going to tell anyone he is sick and to not get treatment. There is so much to learn from the main character in this book! This book is actually classified as a young adult novel, but I think it is great for all ages and both men and women. The last 20 pages definitely required tissue, though! I hope if you choose to read this book you will come back to this post and let me know what you thought.

That looks GREAT! I will definitely look for it the next time I am at the library. I'll let you know what I think of it as soon as I find it and read it!

I think I've read everything written by Nicholas Sparks. Have you read his newest one? I think it was called "Choices". That was GREAT!
I've started reading "Veronika Decides to Die". I think I'm about half way through it. It's really interesting so far. It gives the reader a lot to think about.

I think you have your next Helium article there! Ok, so more notes etc and you would have the makings of a great review. I will have to look out for it and have a read, when I'm not stuck at my computer lost in another world.

I have never heard of the author Chris Crutcher and I am an avid reader, but I will find the book and check it out since it sounds like a good novel. I am more of a mystery reader but I like a variety so I will see if I like it enough to buy it. If you like mysteries I have a few that I would recommend to you to read. One is called Gone South by Robert McGammon, another is called Buried Evidence by Nancy Rosenberg, another is Fatal Voyage by Kathy Reichs, I've read a few of hers and she is reallt good, and another is Heart Full of Lies by Ann Rule, another really good author. I just started reading a novel called Snow falling on Cedars by David Guterson. I have never read any of his books before and I am enjoying it tremendiously. It is another mystery book.
