best way to propose!

proposals - what according to you is the best way to propose?

What do you feel is the best way to propose is it the old custom way or is it the modern way.I feel that the bets proposal is the one not done directly but through a reliable source sincfe it does not emotionally warms up your emotions and force you to say yes instead you find some time to think without getting emotionally blackmaled by the loving face of your proposner.

i think the best way to propose,the old custom way,if we get the positive result ok fine,if not,propose directly,
