I started reading this book a few weeks ago and I'm finding it very difficult to get into it. It's based on medical anthropology so the medical mumbo jumbo really kills my attention.
Has anyone read it? Is it worth finishing?
I have heard numerous rave reviews for this novel which is why I began reading it, but right now I'm not sure if I'll get to the end.

I had the same problem with Darwin's radio..then I realized there was a glossary in the back of the book. Look in the back of the book, it may make your life easier.
