Who Do You Think Is The Best Superman?

Through out the years we have seen so many diffrent actors play the part of the famous "Man Of Steel." Being a huge Superman fan, I love everything Superman. However, when this question is put to me, I find it so hard to choose my favorite because there have truly been so many great actors who have played the role of Superman over the years. If I were forced to make a decision however, I would have to say that my favorite would have to be Christopher Reeves....
There was something about that sideways smile of his and the way he switched from clumsy Clark Kent to the more serious and honorable Superman that gets me everytime. Afterall, he was the first actor I had seen play Superman and he is the one that inspired my fascination with the friendly Kryptonian. (Sigh), I just love SUPERMAN!!!

yep. mine would have to be christopher reeves too. he completely gave justic to the character. the chiseled face and all. christopher reeves was a superman in real life too. i remember seeing lois and clark -- where dean cain portrayed superman... we'll i can't say that it was bad, can't say it was good either. maybe i just gotten so used to the features of christopher reeves that made me see others who portrayed the part as lacking.

Yes, I agree. While I like the others that have portrayed Superman, I don't think any of them could compare to Christopher Reeves. And you're right, he was a truly amazing person in real life as well...

Best potrayal ever was done by the late Christopher Reeves.
He has this face of an angel and a savior in a form of superhero. His blue eyes and even though his body is not as muscular compared to the comics or to other actors but I guess it's like a humble representation that not all superheroes are just muscles.
I never get tired watching his movies. He's the most perfect and charming Superman for me. And he will always be my Superman.

It would have to be Dean Cain. I love Chris Reeve and he was my favorite at one point, but Dean Cain's portrayal of Superman/Clark Kent is more realistic and more open, and natural. At the same time, so innocent. It didn't hurt that he has great chemistry with his co-actor, Teri Hatcher. And of course, his being extremely gorgeous helped a lot, too! :D
