high school friends

i dont know, but i have always had a special spot in my heart for my high school friends. quite amazingly, we managed to stay in touch for years even if we've already taken our own paths in life.
what do you think is so special about high school that makes friendship bonds made at this time enduring?

High school is a very important stage in our development into the adult world.
The people that were close to us during that time share incredible bonds with us because they were going through the same experience.
You are very lucky to still be contact with your high school friends not everyone gets that.

It is amazing to hear that you are still in touch with your high school friends. High school friends are so special because you have shared precious memories like adventures, boys, silly things.My high school friends are already living abroad (US), and we seldom communicate because of their busy schedule. It so sad but at least last year we were able to get in touch.

I graduated from high school in 2003 and I'm still very close with my group of friends from high school. Several of us have graduated from college and are starting our careers, yet we all hang out together every week. I'm even dating a guy I went to high school with. We have other friends we've met in college or at work, but for some reason they're just not as close as the people we went to high school with. I guess high school just seems like a time when things were simpler, and our friends remind us of that time.
