For majbe a few minutes ago, i was writinga about this and was about to start the discussion when the computer im sitting at got pms and switched page for me, making the stuff i wrote dissapear. Whatever, the reason i feel like discussing about this, is because not so long ago today a guy was sitting not far from me at Jonkopings centralstation, talking quite loudly on the phone.
I didnt hear so much of what he was talking about, but piecing together the small fragments i heard, i guess it was some business he had. I dont like hearing stuff like that, if i was a criminal and knew a little more, hed be a prime target for blackmailing and stuff. It was probably an important business call, but still some stuff is better not said out loud especially amongst strangers.
Just for the fun of it, ill throw in two things that are true about people speeking to loudly on the phone. First its proven that most people without noticing it raise their voice while talking on the phone. Also many people find it annoying to listen to others on the phone, since they cant hear the person on the other side its very easy to get curious and listen in.
Do you find stuff like this annoying, disturbing or is it something that you dont bother about.

And it takes the person not on the phone out of their zone. For example, now I cant hear the TV, or study, or concentrate. Or sleep if you live in my house.

It's very annoying. Why should I have to listen to their conversation? Why should they distract me from doing what I was doing at that time? This situation happenns often most of the time at work, while you are concetrated to do the job you're paid for. This disturb me a lot, sometimes I even tell to the other person keep quiet or I just leave the room or the office.

I find it very annoying, one time when I was checking the P O box at the post office I was walking up to the door and a lady had her cell phone open and speaker phone on listening to her voice mails, the phone was turned up way too loud so loud that everything that the person was saying was not even understandable. I think what annoyed me more was not the fact she was listening to them for everyone to hear but the fact that I couldn't understand what was being said LOL. -Amberina

That sounds lame, that she could hear it despite being so damn loud but you had problems with that. Cant figure out why she needed to listen and have such high volume, could be hearing problems. You didnt check to se if she was blond, na just kidding. Majbe she wanted to show of or something, like look im so important because i got alot of voice mails or something.

Yes , As you say Wario, I also hate to see people talking on cell phones very loudly on public places. I have seen many doing that. Sometimes they will be talking to their bf's and everyone near them can liosten to them, their quarelling will be the best. We can hear only one version and we tend to listen to that, get curious to know what is happening and so listen to make out the full conversation. Don't you think so??

Yea, i feel its very annoying when i hear someone talk on their cellphone and i get interested in what they are talking about. It ends up for me being in between either listening to it or focusing on not giving a sh*t about it. Since you never get to hear(if the person isnt stupid enought to have speakers on) what the other persons saying, the best you can do is qualified guessing.
Sometimes i would love to have a high quality recorder, and record peoples conversations on the phone, then you either put it up on internet(not so nice) or if its a friend, annoy them with it.

Yea, that is true that sometimes you actually may need to speak loud. Still its not nice to do it and annoy alot of people around you, if possible its best to go some place solitude(or more solitude than the one you were when you got the phone call).

Not only annoying, but also irritating. They are well dressed and well mannered but just dont understand the fact that even if they talk very softly the person on the otherside will hear them. And most of them have kept their receiver volume also high and many a times if you are standing or sitting very close you could hear the other side of the conversation also.
I have always thought that these people need to be given a class on telephone etiquetes before giving them a telephone connection itself.
