my parents rebel against me?!

since i was a kid my parents kept telling me to eat more healthy and eat vegetables but now i turned 19 and i want to become a vegetarian and still now they tell me that i should not and i should eat meat and eggs and stuff like that, i don't get it, why now that i want to eat healthy they are still against me, i heard of children going against they're parents but never of parents going against them but know more and more things point in that direction! what do you think about this?

Well, you can talk to them about it. Your parents did not rebel against you, you probably is rebelling against your parents. Communication is important here so they will understand your point of view!

i tried talking to them a few times but they still kept making other stuff for me and didn't listen but i talked today again with them so i think they got the point but it's weird that even when i do what they said they still resent it
