I believe that when a person dies, he or she goes directly to heaven or hell. If a person's life is full of wickedness, deceit, and the like but he has an inkling of faith or belief to our Lord our God, he will not go to hell but goes to a place called purgatory. Our God is a merciful God. He looks at the person not of his sins but on his beliefs. His sins are cleansed in the purgatory through the prayers dedicated for him by the living.If a soul in the purgatory is not remembered by the living he will stay there longer until God's grace bring him to heaven. A soul would appear to a living person in order to ask for prayers. He does not appear scary or bloodied or in decomposing state as what is being portrayed in the movies. Souls appearing to the living are not supposed to be afraid of but ask them what they want. The devil is sly and cunning. It feeds in our fears and motives. They know what is inside our minds. They are deceitful and should not be believed. When a figure appear to you and it looks like your father, mother, uncle, son, daughter, friend, enemy, etc. in a scary or decomposing state they are not your your father, mother, uncle, son, daughter, friend, enemy, etc. but a demon disguised as somebody you know. Remember, a soul never appears to be scary. A soul never asks for justice but prayers. When a demon disguised as somebody you know appears before you, do not be afraid of them or you just make them more powerful. These demons cannot harm us. This is the opposite of what is being portrayed in the movies. Our loving God does not permit the demon to harm us but they are permitted to do things to test our faith. Read the story of Job. If you are scared, you will get hurt, probably, because you run and bump onto something. Remember that the there is more powerful than these demons. 2Timothy 1:7. If you see them pray to God and ask for help and guidance. Pray also to Angel Michael and Angel Gabriel. They are warrior angels. Do not consult mediums that are not servants of the Lord our God. This mediums are getting their strengths from the demon. The more you consult the devil's deceit are getting stronger. Trust and believe in God.
