yeah i also have the whole dragon ball z to gt series. love this anime and its good. drawings are great and the battle scenes are awsome

out of all the action animes I've seen I haven't any that would beat DBZ it's so great that Keanu Reeves even "copied" it heheh remember the las scenes of the matrix revolutions? :D

If say 10 year ago, yes. But now, no. Still, I now watch again.

In all honestly I actually liked the series when I first learned of it through some Chinese mangas from a friend who introduced it to me. But then when it started becoming more mainstream here in North America I got tired of it really quickly, and I was also not impressed with the way the series was edited for TV. I only managed to watch part of Dragonball, and then some of Dragonball Z (up to Frieza arc?) and then after that I stopped. I wouldn't mind watching the series in it's original glory (Japanese language, subtitles) if I can find a source one of these days.

I'm rewatching DBZ now. I've downloaded uncut versions with Japanese audio. It's great.

Whilst I love watching DBZ... I would never, ever claim it was the best anime out there. It is cheaply made, has obvious and predictable (and re-usable) plots, the stories and fights drag on, and on, and on. It's completely mindless... and I love it! But no, no it is not the best anime ever. But... Vegeta for the win! *pokes her Vegeta action figure* "Don't do that! Damn woman! I am not a toy!" lol...

I used to watch DBZ but I've seen better anime series. It's also not one of the animes I'd like to watch over and over because it gets repetitive and dragging.
