Do you rent movies?

Do you go to the video store to rent movies? Or do you just watch the ones on TV? Or do you go to the theatre to watch movies? Or do you buy pay for view movies from your cable network? I usually rent movies from a video store but I sometimes rent the pay per view from my cable network. My cable network sells them for $4.95 each and the video store has them usually for about $2.95 each. Going to the theatre, here in Winnipeg, it costs about $9.95 to see a movie plus it costs us double that for us both to go.

Yes, we love movies. We have a blockbuster online account. It's only $20 bucks and we have 3 out at a time. Return the movies in the mail, get new ones in 2 days. Definitely worth the money. If we were to rent them at the store it would cost at least 4$ ea. Also, we can trade at any blockbuster for a new one, only 5 per month tho. For about 10 $ more you can get unlim. store returns. We barely ever go to the theatre. Unless there's something we can't wait til it goes out on video. Hope it helped. B

I so very rarly sit to watch tv at all. When I do, it is usually a movie that I've rented. I never ever go to the theater. It is way to expensive. In the summer, I usually do go to the drive-in at least once or twice. It is a bit pricy but it is so much fun that it's worth it.

We watch a lot of movies that come on TV but we are also a member of the program Netflix where we can rent DVDs. My husband, myself and my daughter each have a que. We make a list of the DVDs that we want to see. They send out the first one and when we finish watching it we send it back and then they send us the next one on our list. There are no late charges, you can keep the DVD to watch as long as you need to then send it back. I think we pay $17.99 per month for the program and we have up to three DVDs out at a time. Great discussion!! SheliaLee

I mostly watch movies on television. I only go to the movie theater once every few months. I used to rent movies a lot more than I do now. I do not watch as much television lately since I have been spending more time online. I get a pay per view movie from our dish network service about as often as I go to the theater.

I never go to the movies or rent movies from the video store. I belong to netflix and my movies are delivered to my mailbox. I just love it because no sooner than I return one, another one comes to me. I'm subscribed to have 3 movies out at a time and with their quick delivery, I'm hardly ever without a movie to watch!

My boyfriend and I have Blockbuster Online so we get movies mailed to us and then we can return them in store too, so we rent and watch a lot of movies. We have all the premium channels too so sometimes we'll watch a movie on there but not very often. If there's a new movie coming out that we want to see we'll go to theatre but it's not very often, we're more of homebodies.

It's very rare for me to watch a film now, most of my time I spend on the computer, however when I do sit down to a film I like to watch it from the comfort of my bedroom, I have quite a few dvds of films which I bought and I know that I will watch them over and over again. We have sky here to and have access to all the movies including the premier ones. It's very rare too that I will go the cinema, it is very expensive £12.50 or $20 equivalent and the food is expensive and I always get noisy people sitting around me when I am trying to watch the movie or keep getting up to go to the toilet! I never rent, probably because I either forget to take them back or I'm too lazy to take them back!

Since I've been with my boyfriend (4 years), we never really have rend a movie. Movies that i really want, I will buy them, even if I don,t buy that much. Most of the time we will wait until they are at the tv. We have 4 channel that only have that movies. The things is that most of the time I never see the movie at the beginning lol I always have to see the movie 2-3 times to see the whole movies lol

i hate going to the theatre..all the ppl, the PRICES! lol the price is probably the worse part, considering how many dud movies are out there. we have a subscription with Netflix and we love it! i pay just under $20 a month for an unlimited number of movies per month (3 out at a time) with no late fees, no postage fees..and no hassle with ppl at the theatre or the video rental place not having any in stock. you should give it a try!

If you look at the UK a normal cinema ticket outside central London costs about £6.50 or about $13. It is expensive so I tend to go only about once every couple of months. As such it is often cheaper to buy a DVD than to go with my wife Other than that will watch free films on Satellite TV, but rarely pay for the pay per view films

hello, chrislotz. I usually go to the video rental to rent movies. I rarely go to the theatre, because going to the theatre for three people will cost us three times than rent several movies at once. :)
