Bear Share and other file-sharing networks

In case you don't know what BearShare is, it is a p2p file-sharing network. It other words, you can download music, videos, movies and such for free. I came from Warez to Bear Share when Warez started filling up with junk and viruses instead of real content. Now Bear Share is doing the same. I haven't come across any viruses yet but almost every single song I attempt to download is not the real song, is a bad version, sounds like it was recorded from the radio or something else is wrong with it. Or it says it is the full song but only plays a few seconds. I am so disappointed! So what are the good ones now? I tried Lime Wire a while ago but that one was already filled up with junk when I tried it.
