What do u think the qualities of a good teacher?

A good teacher is someone who is not self centred, who is thorough in the subject he/she is teaching. A teacher should never compare one child with the other and should never show partiality too. A teacher should be more like a mother and should create a homely atmoshphere even at school.

To be a good teacher, you have to have different skills. You need leadership skills, educational skills, and people skills. But what truely makes a good teacher, is one that reliezes and knows that all children learn differently and being able to teach in all of the methods, that children learn in. In the US that is where our school fail our children, they are taught in one way, though alot of children are tactical learners, and don't learn in the trational ways that schools have been teaching for decades. In my experience, though they have been good people, that very few are good teachers. I homeschool my children because of some of these reasons, not to mention, that the school they were in before I started homeschooling, was letting bullies beat on them. All people learn in different ways, and I believe that until schools and teachers start teaching them in the ways they learn, they are going to fail people all around the world.

A good teacher is like a good leader. A teacher should give priority to his duty. The enviroment of learning should be friendly and disciplined. A teacher should have thirst for more and more knowledge.

from i have learned in my education subject that a good teacher should have a good positive professional and personal attitudes.. if these will be possessed by a teacher, then you can be considered as a good teacher..
