Did anyone else watch Supernatural last night?

What did you think? I loved it! It broke my heart to see Sam so messed up over Dean's death(s).
The previews for next week look outstanding! I can't wait! And, I love that both Supernatural and Lost are on the same night but, it is hard for me to chose which one I want to watch first. So, this week I watched Lost first and Supernatural next. Last week it was the reverse.
Anyway, I am so excited about next week's episode. Does anyone know if that will be the season finale? It didn't say it was but, I thought they only had one left after this week's episode.

I loved it. I was really surprised to see that Ben Edlund didn't write this episode, as the dark humor is usually right up his alley. The abrupt change of tone once the trickster appeared was shocking. And Sam, god, without Dean around, he really did just turn into John. His desperation just to buy Dean a few more months.
This show has not been confirmed for a fourth season, but now that the strike is over, there will be a few more eps. Eric Kripke, the producer, had said that if the strike ended before the end of February that they could get 3-4 more episodes done to show in April-May, but just in case they had slightly retooled this upcoming episode to serve as a season finale if necesary.

I did read that about his next episode. I could swear that I read somewhere that it had been picked back up. I do see that 4 additional post-strike episodes are being made and will start airing on April 24th. I hope that they do get picked back up for another season.

I managed to find someone who had recorded it, because family drama got inthe way of my watching it.
I loved it too, who woulda thought the Trickster would come back JUST to try to help Sam (in a sadistic way, I grant you)?
But it was kinda funny and sad all at once.

I did see it. Poor Sam! I'll never complain about having a bad day again! lol
BUT, I didn't get to see the first two! Ballgames were on instead! I could have just screamed! A ballgame was on this time, too, but it did come on later that night. I can't wait for next week. I hope it's picked up for another year! I'm not ready to stop watching yet! lol

I am not a sports fan so, I completely understand your frustration when that happens. But, the best thing to do is check you local listings because a lot of shows will rerun it as a special time on a different day. How I met Your Mother is my favorite comedy and, when it gets the boot because of sports, they tend to rerun it in my area on a Saturday or Sunday at 1 or 2 in the afternoon.
Also, I will check sometime but, I think I remember seeing that Supernatural did get picked up. If you go to TVguide.com you might be able to find out for sure. Michael Ausiello is a good source for all of the shows that have been picked up and cancelled. If you look in the left hand side of the screen on TVguide.com, you will see his name and then just start looking for his highlights on program.
