On a saturday i normally get up about midday, because i play sport in the afternoon, sunday i work from 9, so i normally get up at 8 ish.
and on days off i normally stay in bed until 3 in the afternoon go out later at night.
That is probably because i am a teenager, also what age do you think you "start to sleep sensibly"?

I wake up very late during weekends. I don't set my alarm or anything. I just wake up whenever I feel very hungry. I know it is a bad thing to do but I also make it sure that I have reserve food to eat right away. Through this way, I tend to rest for a very long time.

I am a early riser,7am would be considered a sleep in for me...Lol.I usually go to bed early, then again even after a late night I can be up and about by 4am.Gues I am a morning person eh?Considering you are an active person sleep when you can get is important, get it while you can.
I do feel as we go through various stages of our life our sleep patterns alter to suit.
Cheers

I remember my teen years, LOL. But I was always working both Saturday and Sunday, so I was usually up at 6 to be at work by 7 or 8. And that was with sometimes only 3 - 4 hours a sleep at night because we were out the night before!!!
Can't answer the sleep sensibly question, because after high school, then there is college life, then working fulltime and going out life, then there is parenthood. So possibly you start sleeping sensibly when you hit retirement age, LOL.

I started to sleep sensibly when I was in my teens. I had school and a job and then a job and a kid so I valued every minute of shut eye I could squeeze out of my alarm clock.

Sounds like you love your sleep ins Chris. Lately I am an early riser, I cannot sleep in even if I tried, probably as I am pregnant. This morning I got up at 6am, the last few days 5am. Even on the weekends I never really sleep in, even before I was pregnant. I feel ripped off if I slept in too much, as most of the day is gone.

There is no thing like 'sensible sleep'. It all depends on your activities and way of life, however proper sleep can be good to your health. I think doctors recommend 8 hours.
Personally when I'm doing nothing (especially holidays), i sleep between 12 - 16hrs, but in general I sleep an average of 7hrs.

i often got up about midday on weekends. i think it's common during young people nowadays. as the stress we face becomes bigger and bigger. i have to insure myself sufficient sleeping to walk a long road.
