Imported Beer! do you really believe its imported?

Corona is a Great beer, when your visiting Mexico. But in Canada and the US, even though the label says," imported" its doesn't taste the same. Why would beer be shipped thousands of miles,at great cost in shipping and handling, when the local breweries can duplicate the recipe, and pick up the shipping costs? I'm very dubious of that, " Imported from. . . " Label. Do you think Imported beer is really shipped from the stated country of origin? What are the chances, we, the public are being scammed once again?
