Ok,
I have followed LOST religiously since it started but I must admit I am now getting very frustrated with the way it is going in the 4th series. I knew that Ben was going to be a strong character but he appears to be more powerful than I imagined and the fact that the whole storyline is now starting to revolve around him is very frustrating.
What about all the things that have happened in the first 3 episodes, I mean we have no explanation for the black cloud, the monster, Dharma etc etc. I feel slightly cheated at the moment!
Does anyone feel like me or am I just trying to see too much into the flash forwards/backwards/sideways of the characters.
I guess I will continue watching until it finishes in the hope of answers!

I still like Lost and will watch it too, but yeah what is the black smoke? and is the guy in the cabin a ghost or what? or is Ben psycho? and what is up with Locke?
I think it will take the whole season to just get tidbits of the answers.
Hats off to the writers, they made such a unique show.

I feel like we aren't getting enough answers each episode. I'm really tired of Ben and agree want to see more information about Dharma, monster, black cloud. These are the reasons I started watching, as it was interesting.

I have been watching lost and I wasn't that quite happy on the ending of the 3rd episode..I have been left wondering about what you are wondering as well. What is that black cloud, and that invisible person ben talks to in that small cottage, also what is the reason and the issue on the Dharma, why did they say the world will end if they stop hitting the button but when they did there was just an earthquake. It is very disturbing. I would like to watch more of it because it left me into thin air and I want to know what else is in there.

You can't be hasty when it comes to Lost. For all we know, they might have an entire season that takes place off the island while other characters are still living on the island, then go back to the island in the 6th season. Who knows.

I love the fact that Lost always has us feeling... well, LOST! LOL It is great that after every episode I am always asking more questions. I am very frustrated though that this season is getting cut short and we are sure to lose alot of the little answers we could have gotten. I do think that as they start to get us asking new questions they should answer some of the old ones. I just have to keep the faith that they have it worked out and in the end we will go "OH... thats what that was"
My theory is on them not telling us about the old questions like Dharma, and the black cloud is because if they gave a definitive answer then that would limit their twists and then limits where they can go with the story. Right now they have a very broad scope to work with, as we get more answers (and less questions) it will be harder for them to WOW us. I do agree that it is frustrating though that they seem to have just jumped ship on those story lines altogether.

I really still love it but, I am sort of a rare breed of Lost fan. I have just put my trust in the writers in that I wait until they reveal to me what they want to when they want to.
One thing I learned in an interview with Locke on my fave radio station is that the guy in the cabin that Hurley saw was Jack's father. I know people had freeze framed the pic but, I couldn't make out who it was. Then the guy who plays Locke (whose name escapes me right now) said it was Jack's dad. What the heck?
I am just along for the ride. The more questions they leave me asking, the more fun I have.
I just don't overanalyze. I think it might be because I am a little bit lazy! LOL!

You are talking about Terry O'Quinn, who is a great actor. He is my favorite on the show.

I still like lost and enjoy every episode. But, they need to give us more definitive answers. I think I've figured out quite a bit of what's going on, but then they throw a curve at me and I don't know what to think. I hope they don't turn more people away from the show by doing this.

The flash forwards are getting on my nerves a bit, although that last one showing Ben getting ready to remove the bullet was a surprise. It has me curious.
I have noticed a common theme with all the flash forwards - all of the peoples lives will be worse for having left the island. Looks like they'd be better off staying?
I wish they had gone more into Hurley seeing the person in the chair in that house. Like you, I'm wondering about the black cloud. I guess all in good time we'll get our answers?

He was the leader of 'Others' ofcourse his character should be this strong. Remember howmuch we all hated Micheal when he killed Anna Lucia & Libbi. Well for me season 4 is going great atleast way more better than Prison break i mean Alex Mahone was such a strong character is 2nd season & now he is complete useless like Scofields sidekick
