I just read an article in a magazine talking about how taking 3,000 IU of Vit. D helps you to lose weight?
Any of you heard of this or tried it?

I have not heard of this? What is the recommended amount of Vit D for a daily intake?
I wouldn't want to exceed the daily intake, as toxicity can result from too much.
I will look at your other responses as I am curious & always looking for ways to loose weight.

I haven't heard about it but I'd check info on Vit.D before doing that. I know that megadoses of some vitamins can actually be more harmful than helpful.

interesting where did you read that article. I joined many programs to loss my weight but still nothing was loss. May be this Vitamin give me hope to loss some of my weight. How did I get Vitamin D. What are the food rich in vitamin D?
