yet another question

You get a star when you hit 100 posts! and they show how your rating is amoung the mylot community. Like if people like your discussions and resposnses. You see the little +'s and -'s by our resposense ? Well if you hit the plus that means you think the persons resposnses are good and that gives them a higher ranking. If you hit the - by their response.. that means you think they sUCK! lol. I rarely use the -, if i dont really like what the person has to say then i usually just dont rate them at all. OH and the ! is to report the response or discussion if its offensive!

Ok the star beside everyone's names are their reputation. Each level star has a different color 10= blue 9= red 8=yellow 7= white 6= pink 5= green 4=purple 3= brown 2= gray 1= light blue Once you reach 100 you will get a star. This is based on how all the mylot user rated you. They rate you with the little + and - signs that are beside each response. The responders have a chance to rate you discussion and your answers to the discussion .. You can even rate a discussion that you left no comment to . how ever don't rate a discussion negatively just becuase you don't see eye to eye on the subject. you also get to rate the responders responses to you. The star are your user rating or mylot reputation. There are three buttons by all of your posts a + - and ! the more + others give you the higher your star will be the more - others give you the lower your star will be. You will get your star when you reach 100 posts. The highest star you can get is a 10 the lowest is a 1.
