How much does the tooth fairy leave your kids

My little girl is fixing to loose her 1st tooth and she informed me that the tooth fairy was going to leave her $10 for her tooth. I ask her how she knew she said that all of her little girl friends said that the tooth fairy left them $10 so she would get that too. When I was a kid the tooth fairy only left me any where between a quarter and a dollar. Did the tooth fairy get a raise or what. I would like to know what other parents are doing.
