there was someone who said that the average timeframe of recovery of a person is up to a maximum of 6mos. if it goes more than that, then it is sure to leave a lasting scar. that even if you have someone else already, you'd still be constantly thinking about that other person. so within that 6mos, you should do everything you can to forget the one that got away. go out with friends, if you feel like crying -- then cry, but if the moment requires you to enjoy -- then have fun. of course it'll be hard. you'd be constantly thinking about the pain and all. but take one day at a time. you might wake up one day and be surprised that he/she is not the first thing you think of anymore.
