Ladies, what make-up can you not do without?

Yes it's silly to talk about make-up but we're girls, women. And I always like to hear what works for other people so I can try the latest greatest thing... :)
I guess I better answer the question myself too. One of my pet peeves, to not answer the question that you ask yourself.
I love my Hawaiian lipgloss masde from sugar cane and came from Hawaii. Makes me think of our trip there.
Also, Clinique foaming facial cleanser, Revlon Colorstay powder, and mascara (don't really care about the brand on that one, long as it isn't super cheap.)
And are you a girly-girl if you do like make-up?
And if you don't like make-up, then what do you like?
:)

Hi secretbear,
That's exactly who I was talking to when I posted this discussion, about it being silly to talk about make-up if any men decided to respond. Although there are some men out there that do wear make-up, I think most are on television though! :) You know, the "guy-liner" rockers and the ones who have to like news casters.
If you like Avon, you really should try bonne bell. more flavors, and I think it's less waxy. And many different formulas. What's your favorite flavor?
I like my M & M s one. :)

I cant go without my tinted moisturiser, lipstick and mascara. I use boots no7 tinted moisturiser, I use this instead of foundation now. I find that now I am in my thirties foundation tends to show my little lines up more and make me look older than I am. I found this tinted moisturiser and its great, it gives my skin a nice glow isnt too heavy and doesnt make me look ten years older. Lipsticks are my overall favourite and I just have to try any new lipsticks that come out, but I had to stop buying them because I have got an absolute box full!

I just thought you are in America, I am in England, so you probably wont get it over there. Boots is a big chain over here and no 7 is their own brand of products, they are all very good and not over expensive like some. Clinique is getting quite popular these days, that can be expensive though I noticed! Thanks for your request I shall accept it!!

I will have to try that boots makeup. Where do you get it? I am in my 30s also. Lipgloss is my favorite, though I like clinique lipsticks. I usually only get them when I'm getting the freebies with a purchase though. My family said I could go into a business of selling my cosmetics, I have so many. I have cleaned out since and still have a lot!

I tend to wear light face powder (No.7) and L'Oreal Lipstick and any decent eyeliner during the week for work. But say I'm popping out to the shops (not a big shopping trip mind you but just a local one) I'll manage to go out without face powder or eyeliner but I can't leave the house without lipstick. Have been wearing makeup since I was 16 and now I'm 40. Guess I'll never get bored of it LOL :)

Ah mascara, the bain of my life. I am so jealous of people that can wear it properly and have that long eyelash effect. Whenever I wear it, it gets all clumpy no matter how wonderful or expensive the mascara is lol!

I absolutely love Arbonne products! I am an Esthetician and makeup artist and I use all their skin care and cosmetics because they are made from an herb or a botanical, so they are excellent for your skin. Check out their website: www.arbonne.com. If you want to try anything, let me know!

i wouldn't say i'm a make-up person too. i don't really know how to apply properly. but i just wear the basics like the foundation and eyeliner.
for me, whenever i go out, eyeliner is a must for me too. like someone said, it makes all the difference. if i don't wear the foundation, it's fine. but i feel that wearing eyeliner somehow makes the face different in a better way. it makes us look good.
i do use some skin products on my face which is oily. i'm using olay cleanser and moisturizer right now. i have quite a new blog on skin care if you're interested. you can go to my profile to get the link.

Oh yes, there definitely was a reason why any of it was invented! To increase our self esteem maybe? Some people don't need that though. (I am not one of them!) You know, they have been using makeup for centuries! From mashed up berries in Egypt to I don't know where. I'm really not very good with history and my memory is also not so good. But oh well, I has my make-up! :)
Have a good day asanchez. I see you are new... WELCOME--I'm sure you will enjoy it here. I'm also pretty new, under 3 weeks now, I think.

Lipstick... I very rarely wear it. I have one lipstick in my make-up bag, which I've had for years now, because I only wear it once in a blue moon. The most money I spend on make-up is on eyeshadow and mascara. I like to make up my eyes. :)
Brightest Blessings.

and me, I have too many shades to count, and I really don't like lipstick, only the gloss, colored gloss though.
You know you aren't sposed to hold onto make up for that long, right? ;) It's the bacteria they say.
I think my most expensive product is prob my clinique foaming cleanser, I love the stuff.

I am on a strict budget and so I do not buy much makeup. I use lipstick when there is special event, but if I had the money, it would be the foundation. My face is a bit too red and I need makeup to tone it down. I also would like a bit of mascara, but since my eye brows are white, I would not know what kind would be best. However in summer I do not need any makeup as long as I am wearing something white, blue, or green near my face.

I love make-up...I can't live without my concealer stick and my gloss honelty. If this things happen to be absent in my purse, I'd be so damned for sure. LOL! I just really see to it that I have enough time to put on make-up before I go to work or go out with friends or somewhere. I really don't want to create a mess on my face so I take things one at a time for this stuff. I love to try out new shades of eyeshadows too that's why it's taking me time to prepare. I mostly match my eyes to what I wear for the day..hihihihihi..;)

I only wear three things every single day. So I suppose those three would be the make-up I can't live without.
I wear a neutral eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara every day. Other than those things, I don't wear anything else.
Well, if I get a blemish I will dot a tiny bit of mineral make-up on it to hide the redness but that is all.

I love wearing makeup. I sell BeautiControl and I love the Color Lip Duos. They are a dual lipstick/lipliner. I use the one called Amaretto. My mother uses Hot Toddy. We're using these because it's wintertime right now.

Well, I can't do without my eye-liner and lipstick, thats for sure! The lipstick I wear is (Mood lips), it looks blue, but goes on, like a pinkish-purple color. 12 hour non-transfer lipstick, changes color with the pH of your lips.
I'm not really a girlie-girl, but I'm girlie!
The Hawaiian lipgloss sounds good!
I don't wear a foundation, cause my skin is dry, and I think I look fine without it anyway,(less trouble too). :o)

I absolutely can't live without my Maybelline eyeliner. I feel as though without eyeliner you can be blank. A little eyeliner and your picture perfect. I also like to keep at least 2 lip moisturizers especially in the winter times...it gets tough.
