Do you sell your crocheted project for extra income? What type of items do your sell? Where do you sell them?

I have many hobbies that I do and would love to make a profit from them. Both my Mom and I crochet blankets and I'm starting to learn how to make stuff animals as well. Mom does straight stitching while I do both straight and patchwork. With crocheting, my Mom sews and creates her own curtains. They're so good that you would think she purchased them from a store. I on the other hand can't sew, but I can cross-stitch. I'm not 100% good, but with more practice, I can learn to do things by eye, like using a photo or an item of some sort.
I wish we could sell them, we don't even have an idea on how to begin. So for now, we just continue to make projects and pass them out as gifts or save for future babies arriving.
Cheers

I normally crochet for fun, but have occassionally sold items at craft fairs. It's been awhile since I have made anything though. The last thing I made was a baby blanket for my husband's ex-sister-in-law. That was almost two years ago.

I don't sell too many of the things I make, mostly because I give them as gifts and my family usually needs them to give as gifts. I would love to get into a craft fair one day though.

I've sold a few afghans, baby blankets and scarves, but none recently. I used to work on the school bus as an asst with the special ed kids and my co-workers would fall in love with what I was working on and offer to buy them.
I still make them for myself and for gifts, but I'd love to find a way to make a few $$$ from them.

I just recently learned to crochet and I absolutely love it! I would like to make extra things to sell. My mom knows how to knit and crochet and she has created lovely things to sell in our etsy shop online. We are also gonna try to get into some local craft shows and see what we can do! Since we would really love the extra money.

I make specific projects just for the purpose of selling the completed item. I often do well at local area craft bazaars and flea markets. I also make sure that I do research into what is hot at the moment. I find baby items are my biggest, and my specialty dolls are next in line. I also am starting on my own pattern designs for those that look at my items and comment that they could do that themselves. Ebay is also great too, but again you really need to research what sells so you don't run up fees for unsold items.

I am making a few jewelery items to sell on awebsite I found for crafters. I made a nice silver beaded necklace. It is very pretty. My grandson wants me to make him a blanket so that is my next project and me a purse. Do you kow how to felt? I want to try that .
