do you really need to know where your husband is always?

actually last time, i really take pride knowing that i know where my husband is always. he is always in church anyway and with friends. he doesn't go anywhere without telling me where he is. he also updates me when his plans change. i think it is pretty good and gives me security that he is safe. however, last valentines he said that the downside is, he cant give me surprises because i always know where he is. what is your take on this? what are your experiences? thanks and God bless! :-)

I feel better if my husband always tell me where he is. It is not that I want to control where he goes or with whom he hangs around but it is more to safety reason. At least, if anything happens, I know where to find him. Most of the time, my husband tells me where he is going or with whom he is hanging around but I don't make it necessary to tell me every time he wants to go out. I don't want him to feel awkward with that.

I think it's great that you always know where he is! My dad always likes knowing where my mom is, no matter what. He's always just been that way, before there were cel phones he would just call everyone in the neighborhood if she wasn't home! But I know where my boyfriend is too normally, I go crazy if he disappears and doesn't tell me! But he's not too outgoing either so I know he isn't doing anything too crazy. But it's great having that security though.
