It is a real good feeling to hold the book in hand and read it rather than reading it online. The best thing is I can read a book even when I am lying down, mark the page and keep it on my headboard. But this is not possible with online reading. Though if needed I do read online, I mostly prefer books. So I go to a library to get books and I am a member of the local library. My passion towards books is known to all in the family and they make sure that they get me good books when they see one. Or they share those books which they have completed.

I prefer to go to the library and check out actual printed books. I sometimes read articles online, but when it comes to books, I like to have a paper copy so that I can take it with me when I go places. I think it's a little nicer than reading books online since I don't have to be sitting at the computer the whole time, and I can lay in bed and read or something if I want to.

Yes, i go to the library, but if i really need to borrow book.
If not, i prefer to research in internet, faster and more efficient.

I go to the library. I don't think I would like to sit at the computer to read a book.
I love the library, always have!

I like to go to the library. It is so close that I can step out of my front door and look to the left and see the library. It is a small library and I have gotten to know the librarians. So when I go to check out books which is on a regular basis we stand around and talk. So not only is it close but the people who man the library are friends of mine. I have tried a couple of times reading books online and to me it just is not the same as curling up in my recliner and having my drink sitting next to me and opening up the book to the adventures that are in store for me. That is the ultimate enjoyment for me.

I have always enjoyed visiting libraries and borrowing books as long as I can remember. My local library lets an adult borrow up to twenty books at a time. I have to be careful not to let them get over due or the fines will be high. Before my mum retired she was a librarian and she was able to get me books to use for my studies from other libraries. I usually go to my local library and sometimes I go to the newt closest library to me and to the library in town. Recently my library has become linked with libraries in other areas. So my library card works in the city and in other town and village libraries. If I am in a town shopping that I don't go to very often I pop in to its library and perhaps get to borrow some good books. Then when I have read them I am allowed to take them back to my local library.

Hi there shahsazz! I would really love to go to the library and read but I don't have the time and it wouldn't be practical since the library here is a good 30 minute ride away from our home. I read books that I download from the internet. I read them here in my computer when we don't have internet connection. I also have a friend who collects good books and love sharing them. He introduced me to The Wheel of Time series. I also buy from the mall where there is always a book sale.

I used to go to a library when I was a high school student in a faculty of philology. It was my area of education that made me read a lot. But now I either buy books or just watch movies instead of reading the same stories in the books.

well when i was a student, i used to read a little in the library and borrow the books too as i was more free then. now i'm a mother so i don't really have time to read in the library. but reading online doesn't appeal that much to me either. maybe it's because it might cause me to have a backache if i stay at the computer for too long.
but even now, when i'm free, i borrow books from the library and bring home to read. i don't read in the library as i usually read with my son there, kiddy books though not too long since i need to go home and cook and the library's far away from my place. but i definitely prefer the library to online reading books.
i just read manga(jap comics) online.

I frequent the library.
I spend hours a day online doing other things, but don't find reading online to be enjoyable. I do most of my reading in bed, but will occasionally read while curled up on the couch if there's nothing else going on.
