how do you deal with extended family and x's at a wedding

Today my son is getting married. He called and said he will dance with his wife, stepmom and then me, his mom. I know he has to do this because if not she will freak out. Alot of problems there. I am nervous to see my family, last time they all got drunk at my older sons wedding, how embarrassing. well I hope for the best , my question to you is it normal to be so nervous? I will let you know how it goes

well it is only human to get nervous at such times dont worry everything would go ok if you dont stress. I remember my wedding (5 years ago) my husband is from the other side of my country so all the people (on my side) came with a hired bus including a family of 3 that invited them selfs (basicly the man is the cousin of my sisters father in law yeah I know what the f%#^) he got so drunk (no suprese there) and everyone on my husbands side was saying or your uncle this and that I had to explain to everyone that I hardly know the idiot but I didnt stress or payed too much atention or I would have end up in tears. Have fun enjoy your self who cares what they do as long as they dont fight or something.
