Hello m_sugar, I think you mean friends who are girls with girl friends and friends who are boy as boy friends. I am answering your topic with how I understand the discussion. As for me it is hard to make friends with boys before because I don't know how to deal with them. I have 6 sisters but no brother. And most of my cousins are girls too. In my elementary and high school class, girls outnumbered boys. So I don't have lots of boy friends. But during my college days, it is the opposite, in our class girls are outnumbered by boys. I am taking education course with math as my major and many boys are fun of subject mathematics so expected you will have many boy classmates. 11 males vs 5 males. At first I get awkward dealing with them. They are very friendly but I always prefer to be alone than to interact with a population outnumbered by boys. I always avoid to sit behind a boy, but then some of my boy classmates do observe that and they will tease me by sitting beside me and lay their hand on the chair as if looking their hands is on my shoulder, so I always lean myself on the disk to avoid. During student affairs and there are disco, some of them will ask to dance and I always refuse. So thought I am strict. When we have an open forum they told me my problem with regards to dealing with them, I told them the reason and they start giving me advises. They try hard to make me comfortable with them and as time goes by, with 3 years being in the same section, I become close to them and learn to deal with them. I will never forget my classmates in college. Now, I am still uncomfortable with boys but not the same as it is before.

I really don't have any true friends outside of my marriage but I tend to get along better with boys more than girls. The girls I have met have nothing in common with me like guys do.

Yup, I do have girl friends whom i met in chatting .. Like all of them for their good behaviour
