What Ticks Me Off

Yes, it makes me upset too, Gambler, which is why I am a big promoter of spaying and neutering. I also live in the country and we have our cat and dog, both that were strays. The cat was not too bad off, she came into our lives in the fall, before bad weather hit, but our dog, we got her just a few weeks ago and it was really cold and she was so skinny..But they are both fattening up really quick...lol

Great idea. Take these people who abandon their animals and leave them alone on the side of the road in the middle of the night and see how long they last. Half of the dogs I had growing up were strays I picked up from my neighborhood. One of them was a terrible dog. She was nuts! But the rest of them lived long and happy lives with me. I hate people that do this to their pets. But it is better than drowning them in a barrel full of water like my old neighbor used to do when her cat had kittens.

I think it is beter to take them to humane society if you can't take care of them anymore. Or try to give to a friend or family. Leaving them is cruel.
