It was realy beat up.I took her home and cleaned it up i feed it with idroper. Now she is the funiest cat around. She is a runt from shock i think. Maby she will get bigger. What do you think? Runts and small cats come from various reasons.
We have a feral that was probably born to a feral and while we've had her since she was quite a small kitten and we know she's gotten good food since then, she is now 7 & still a very small cat. She might've been the runt, or it could be because her mom didn't get enough food for the kittens while she was carring/nursing them.
On the other hand, we have a pair of brothers (only 2 related cats in the house.) They look a lot a like, but one is 13 lbs (not fat) and the other is 10 lbs. Pong is noticably larger than his brother, Ping.
Last year we also had a brother/sister pair. He's a huge cat, 16 lbs & not a scrap of fat on him while his sister (who we placed) was only about 9.
So, it could be a combination of poor food as a kitten and genetics, but probably not shock.
Oliver, our bottle baby, isn't as big as some of the cats, but it wasn't the food since we got him, it could've been before we got him tho. He was only 7 days when we got him & while kittens should eat every 3-4 hours, he did a 12 hr fast before the people gave up on his mom coming to get him & took him in. Then he had human baby forumla for another 6 before I got him kitten milk.

She may just be a small cat? We've had kittens grow into big cats and others that stayed smaller that were all from the same litter.
Glad you were able to rescue her and bring her up to good health. She may get bigger or she may stay small? Either way, it sounds like she has a good home with you.

I had a kitten that was a runt. She never got really big but she was the craziest cat I ever had. She got pregnant when she was about 2 and only had 1 kitten and it to always stayed tiny.
