I use Windows, powerful OS, unlimited amount of applications and games, 100's of hardware configurations.

Hi,
I don't prefer any platform over another. Why well because they all have goods and bads. I must say I like programming (im a software engineer) and I mainly use java to program. Java is a language to runs on all of these platforms. So I don't have to decide which one I want to create something for.
But something I must say is that I like running linux for games (because its faster most of the times). As for windows it looks nice and works fine (except for vista hate the platform already). I havent used mac a lot but I don't really do any graphics designing so I do really need to use it. In the past I have done a bit of graphics designing on a mac and must say that worked just fine. So for me it depends on what I am doing.
With kind regards,
MOnline

I prefer windows. The only reason for this is that I am more familiar with it. I don't know which is better. But it will probably always be better for me since I have more knowledge in it. However I like how some of the apple computers look. I am just afraid to get it because it won't have windows on it.

i've been using windows all my life. but if i had a choice, i'd definitely switch to mac. windows is way too buggy. it has it's way of coming up with a new error everytime. problem is -- mac is very expensive. the specs, software and all. windows can use any hardware. but mac just designates a certain hardware and software. plus i find it very hard to find softwares available to mac. like games for instance. most games are windows compatible.

i recomend a mac beacuse it is much bettre better looking a clean and faster but it cost so much than a windows. i have 2 windwos computer and 1 mac.but i always go on mac. just the thing i dont like about mac is that some software is not compatilbe for mac. but windows always has another problem every day so i would get a mac anytime...

Windows. But I'm planning on getting a MacBook Pro and having it dual-boot with XP. I really need XP right now though because I make music with FL Studio and such, which isn't available on the Mac. But there are other apps I want that are Mac only, like Logic. Overall, Windows has almost all apps I need, plus I haven't gotten a virus on this or anything. Firefox

Hello and welcome to MyLot. Mac every time. Everything about it is better. It is cleaner, more intuitive and just cooler looking. No viruses is a huge advantage too. My only slight complaint is that sometimes cetain graphics are not compatible with Safari and I have to transfer to Firefox.
