What a stunning result. What do you think is the main factor that lead to Man U victory? Some claimed that the crowd is the leading factor that boost the spirit of Man U to play well. So, what do you think?

Only the blind will say that Man U is a cheat. How can you tell they wetted the field with heavy articial rain? If that is the case the first person to complaint will be Arsene Wenger. Are you at the field? Did you touch the field? Uou see, all the players played in the same field and I don't see they slipped or anything like that. It just that 95% of the game was control by Man U and you called that a cheat? Come on, you are just like Arsene Wenger and all Arsenal can do is complaint, complaint and complaint. Ferguson praised Man City for their better performance in the derby and he didn't complaint a thing. Wake up Arsenal fan. Accept the reality in football, you win some and you lose some but losing 4-0 is too bad.

Stung by their last EPL loss to Man City and needing to make amends for that in front of their home supporters, I'm not surprised that Man U lifted their game to thrash Arsenal. It couldn't have been the sending off of Emmanuel Eboue that gave United the advantage, because the game was virtually over by half-time with United 3-0 up. What's more significant about this win over the mighty Gunners was that United achieved it without Ronaldo. Maybe having Roonie and Nani both fired up was key to this victory. Having proven which team is more superior, will this mean that Man U will have what it takes to overtake Arsenal in the remainder of the league to keep the title? I certainly hope so, and will cheer for them all the way to the end.

Arsenal is a competitive team. Whenever they play top teams, they tend to play rough and tough, because winning is so important to them in keeping their position in the table. Both teams in such games usually lift their game because there's so much at stake. The team that has the better skills and composure for the day will be the one that comes out victorious.

Team work in a game is very important and controlling your temper is another thing. Do you realise that whenever Arsenal played against good team such as Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool they tend to play robust and rough. It seem they cannot control their emotion and temperament. That the advantages of the opponent against Arsenal.

Man U dominated the game, i think the gunners is under estimate the Man U bench, they don't give them enough pressing, for example Daren Fletcher can scored 2 goals..and they don't expect it...They think without CR7 Man u strenght is decrease...but Nooo....ManU rules

Man U always rules in football. What else can I say, winning a big margin of 4-0 is a shame for big club like Arsenal. Maybe you right that Arsenal under estimate Man U for losing in the Derby a week earlier. Keep it up Man U.

I think Manchester United have been playing quite well this season. It's only been in certain games where they have failed to come with the goods. Barring those United's play has been scintillating. Saturday was no exception and it just showed that even a top class team like Arsenal would be torn to shreds if United are on song. I think this victory should serve as a real booster for the premier league and should also mean better performances in the latter rounds of FA Cup.

I don't think so.I think The Gunners doesn't play all out, cause maybe they prepare for the champion league next week. And of course the Reds with several goods skill players doesn't made any longer to take the chance and finally they win the game

I'm sorry, but there is no way that Arsenal can be happy with a 4-0 loss, even if they are preparing for the CL game. True, both ManU and Arsenal left some key-players on the bench, but still, you want to go back in good spirit and not with the idea you just lost to your biggest rivals.

I don't totally agree. Sure, both Arsenal and ManU left some key-players on the bench, but even if the Gunners were preparing for the CL match next week, they still don't want to loose 4-0 to their biggest rivals. And the players that DID get a chance always wanted to prove they deserve a place in the team. But we'll see what happens next week, in the CL games.

Well, don't you think they would have trashed Man City with double digits if the crowd had anything to do with it? They played at home, in a derby, to commemorate one of the ugliest sporting incidents in history, playing in the shirts they wore back then, now 40 years ago. What more motivation do you need???? Maybe the fact that Rooney came back after suspension and screwed up Arsenal's defense completely, over and over again for 70 minutes, had anything to do with it? Maybe the fact that it's easier to concentrate against a team like Arsenal for the FA cup than it is against Man City in the Premier League?
I'm sure the crowd is an important factor, but these 2 games definitely prove (to me that is) that there is more to it. They play for a capacity crowd every single week, it just proves they're still human and are capable to perform bad every now and then.

I do agree with you Porteno that the crowd wer not the main factor that lead to Man U victory. Man U player's spirit are always high when playing against good team such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. I don't know why but based from the record, Man U always lose to Man City.

yeahhh .. Man U thrashed Arsenal 4-0... watched the whole of 90 mins :D ..well . pity .. it could have been a bigger margin of victory if rooney had converted his many chances .. also .. saha .. one on one with lehmann. he should have scored .. anyways i still happy with the Man United Performance . the cameback in style from their dissapointing derby game . well . i wouldnt say .. the crowd was a factor coz crowds always dere in old trafford ..its always fullhouse . i would say it was down to some fine display by nani .,a very gud team effort of Man United and a very poor arsenal team.. there backfour was haywire , they didnt have any firepower going upfront either.. the gunners are starting to become a one man team.. they arent the same with their striker Adebayor ..
n wanna add . Man United are gonna complete the treble this season :D ;) .
go Man United

As a whole, all the Man U players played well and they display a manificient teamwork performance. If they keep and maintain to their performance and the same teamwork spirit, Man U will emerge champion for the Premier League title.

they did good...But I am annoyed of one thing..RONALDO !!
I am tired of the media who are exposing him out...Everywhere in the corner or a newspaper, in the headline..RONALDO RONALDO RONALDO.... Well, is MAN U has got only 1 player ?? I have started to hate Ronaldo now !! Same thing will happen to him like BECHKAM, will be kicked out of MAN U..and will like a celeb. and not a footballer...

Well, at least you cannot deny the fact that he is too good in dribbling and passing. About David Beckham, to me is his the best in his era and until today I do respect him. He may not be a scoring machine but his cross passing always pose danger to the opponent.

To achieve such a result against Arsenal , there is only one explanation:-
Manchester United are the GREATEST !!

i watched the game.. and i'll tell you its 95% manchester united highlights.. arsenal did a worse performance of the season.. plus the crowd was electric what would you expect.. and Darren Fletcher is a big factor in this game.. he is really magnificent.. his return to the 1st 11 is so crucial on that game.. so ManU really rocked Arsenal of their feet.. and LIverpool ehm, slipping down "again"..

Yes I do agree with you about Darren Fletcher. Fletcher will only show his true colour whenever he played against big team like Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. The crowd do give them the boost to go all out that evening.
