only to think....what was I thinking??? That has happened to me several times. My cousin had bought the box sets of young riders and the hardy boys, two shows we just loved when they were on tv. Well, we got all excited and ready to watch them and....we were bored. How can that be??!! We were really disappointed, and I was a little sad too. Kinda like the end of an era or something. I guess it's because we get older and change a little every day. Sometimes the way we once think or felt about things, is completely opposite from how we used to think or feel. Has this ever happened to you?

The reason of that Occupation is that you have seen better movies than the hardy boys etc. but the real thing is that you have seen it already and whatever is on tv this time in life is way newer and way better. Im sorry but you need to find a new and better tv show if you used to like the hardy boys.... I mean I used to like Ed Edd & Eddy and now I dont cause they got newer tv shows that make sense and dont throw jokes out there in the middle of nowhere like family guy. But family guy is funny because the jokes they use is the jokes that are happening right now.

Are You Freakin Kidding Me? Newer shows are much better? I'll grant you some of the newer show on today are better on some level but for the most part, all you see today on TV is reality shows, which if I wanted to see that I wouldn't bothering watching TV, or someone chopping up or killing someone else and someone trying to figure out who did it.
Any good shows that they actually do have on air, they take off for something stupid. The Family Guy is the stupidest show I have ever laid eyes upon. What does it teach kids who may turn it on thinking it's a fun cartoon? To kill their mothers or to be disrespectful....
Older shows may have occasionally been a little corny but at least they taught the value of family and respect. They were funny without being disgusting and vulgar. I say this to Eva, keep watching the old stuff and be selective in the new...Nough said...

I meant Bother in the sentence below,
"I wouldn't bother watching TV."
Sorry, I was on a role and so now I am correcting myself :-P

This happens to me quite a lot. Episodes are better than movies in a variety of ways for me.

I caught about 5 minutes of an old a-team episode a few months ago. It totally distroyed all of my illusions of how great it had been, and I had to switch over again.
Now I just wonder how a group of specialised soldiers could be so rubbish at shooting that they couldn't hit anything
