Questions answers and theories....

What the jumping back in time then ahead in time. Some times I'm not sure if the events are now, before, after the island. I'm guessing that it may be things that could happen? The story line is great, one of the best in a long time. There are aways more questions them answer. Keeps me and my wife looking for next week. Why don't they use all the cool stuff on the island. They know there is more under ground rooms. We have seen more TV monitors, they must go some where. mcbigboy

Locke did blow up the submarine. As far as the pilot being told to use the exact route coordinates, i believe there is a time issue there. When the scientist was doing an experiment with the person on the ship and she was doing a count down to the landing of the device, it didn't show up for several minutes. He looked at the time on the device and then the time on his watch and there was a difference. Is there a time warp or is this because of the magnetic field. It can't be a different time zone because the device would have still landed at the end of the count down. I am not too sure what the black smoke is yet. My question is, What is up with the polar bears? What is their significance to the island and the desert? The one found in the desert had a collar with a Darhma insignia on it. I know they were part on an experiment but for what. They survive in the cold.

I think all the medical issues on the island, Locke walking, the pregnancies and the rest of it has to do with the magnetic shield. The reason I believe that is you can buy a magnetic bracelet for your health. It has been said that magnets do something to our system to cause you to feel better, not have the aches and pains... Where is the shield coming from and why? Was it Ben who killed all the people? There was a sign of Quarantine on the hatch they found. Was that to keep the people away from each other to do studies? Or was there a disease on the island. What about the cabin? Did it really move and what was that on the ground Locke looked at where he thought the cabin was? It looked like gravel.

I have almost the exact same questions. I mean i get how the dharma initiative got there but the question still remains what were they studying, the black smoke? I really hope the writters actualyl know whre the story and they have an ending that will justify three seasons of rising action. Right now im just really rooting for Sun and Jin to be part of the oceanic 6.

Didn't Locke blow up the Others' submarine? Was that how they used to get on and off the island. I remember Locke blew something up but, I can't remember for sure if it was a submarine. It seems like there is only one sure way on or off the island and that is by water. But, it now seems like, as long as you follow an exact route, you can prevent a plane from flying out of the sky. The one guy warned the pilot of the helicopter to follow the exact route coordinates and to not, under any circumstances deviate from that route. So, it seems like there is a maybe something outside of those coordinates that messes with a planes machinery and crashes them. Other than that, I don't have any other answers. The smoke monster is still as much a mystery to the cast as it is to us. I think only the writers know what it is and, from what I understand from interviews that I have heard with the cast, they are so guarded with the scripts that they may get them as little as one day before shooting on an episode begins. The writers run a type ship and keep everything close to the vest so as not to ruin anything for the fans.
