Hello mycharm,
I do share my bathsoap to the whole family. I don't know if it is not advisable but we are accustomed to doing that. Besides none of us in the family has skin problem so no need to worry about it. Soap is used to remove bacteria or germs so I do think bacteria will not stick on the soap and pass to other users.
But I don't share my bath soap to other people.

hi mycharm! ^__^
i don't share a bath soap with the family. i have my own soap. before i did though. but you know us girls, we like to try this and that beauty soaps for softer, fairer, pimple-free skin, and whatever beauty reasons.^__^;; so i started buying my own different soap and i make it sure that its hidden away from other members of the family because they tend to use anything in the bathroom when they are taking a bath. they don't bother to ask whose this and that. .

Yup! that's exactly my point c",) that's why i rarely share my soap. If it's too expensive and exclusively for my face then i would never share it to anyone.lol thanks dear c",)

Same as you, we also share the same bath soap as a family. But we also use soaps aside from the normal bath soaps, like those which we use for our skin and face.
I think even when I get the chance to live away from my parents, I have no problem in sharing the soap to anyone!;)

I share with others. I don't mind sharing it. But I had one friend who never shares. Would you share with your spouse later?

my second born has very sensitive skin so she uses cetaphil and my first born uses a male soap. so the rest of my children and me uses the same soap. we use dove or sometimes biore liquid body soap.

I am single and I live with my family just like you. Well, I do not share my bath soap with the whole family. I have a very sensitive skin and my dermatologist advised me to use baby soap or light soaps like dove or ivory. The rest of the family uses germicidal soap which I cannot use because it is too strong.

My husband needs deoterant soap and I'm allergic to it. So we each have our own soaps. Mine in hypo-allergetic and has some lotion in it. So he switches off between Irish Spring and Dial. I have sensitive skin Dove.

When I lived with my parents, I did share the same bath soap for it's soap which is a clean thing to wash with and so the bar itself is clean. I say to each his own thing but I don't see anything wrong with sharing a bar of soap. My husband and I share a bar of soap as well.

My family shares the soap. I don't find anything wrong with it. Of course it may not be a sanitary thing to do but it doesn't bother us.

I do prefer my own soap, I do not know why it bothers me to use the same bar of soap - I mean, it is soap afterall it should be clean, right? I am a little ashamed that I do this so sometimes I buy my husband his favorite soap (Ivory) which I have a skin reaction from - so that way I have an excuse to use my own private bar.
most of the time, though, I use shower gel anymore (which he does not like to use) and I have no problems sharing that... but don't touch my scrubbie!

nope., I do have my own bath soap. my father's soap is safeguard, and mine was belo soap. LOL. since my dad doesn't want to use any other soap aside from safeguard, then I bought his own. and so I love belo soap.

We shared our bath wash for the whole family but it is the Herbalife body wash. It is really good. Its a liquid form and worth it.
I only have for own is the soap that i bought in my facial care. I only used it for my face alone. And its so good.
