I have a pair of love birds. I have them for a year now but when i got them from a friend, they already have a fungus. Can anyone tell me, whats the simplest remedies for them?

The best thing would be to take the birds to the vet because they need antibiotics to be fully cured. If you are caring for the birds properly they should not have gotten any fungus to begin with as the fungus has to have a a dark, damp place to grow in order to infect your birds. Are you cleaning their cage often enough?

hey, thanks for the advice. i have just bought the birds from a previous owner but when i bought it from them they didnt mention it right away. It was later that they said that the birds have fungus. I clean it all the time and even bought an anti biotic to put in
their water, but so far it hasnt changed. i only clean their cage every weekend as it is the only time i have

Depending how dirty your birds are their cage should be changed at least every other day. That could be making the fungus worse. Anyway, they need to go to the vet and get blood work and probably a shot. Depending on what they actually have, depends on what the vet will want to do. I hope that if you have other birds you quarantined these in another room for 30 days.
Do you give them fresh food and water daily? What about their daily veggies and out of the cage time?
