Hi I just do not know what to do, my pomeranian fell downstairs last Sunday and had to be put down I am heartbroken I loved her to bits she was 15years old. She was beautiful she went everywhere I went, every move I made in the house she was right behind me, she slept next to the bed I miss her dearly. I dont know whether to get another one I want her back so much, What do you think I should do ?

YESYESYES! As you must know, dogs and people help each other through tough times. Build a new relationship with your new friend, different, but just as important as the one you have lost. It doesnt take anything away from your love for your previous little sweetie, dogs can only add to the life of a dog lover, and there is a dog out there who needs your kind of love and devotion. My best to you.

Thanks for that I have got another dog now a papillon he is nearly 8 and he was very frightened when I got him and would not go near anybody but he is getting better every day, it is so strange it is as if he was always meant to be here. I still miss Abby, I always will but I am so glad I have got Beanie.

I think you should wait and give yourself time to grieve. A new pet cannot replace your lost dog, no matter how much you love it. Each animal is unique and special and trying to fill the void with something new may only distress you farther. I'm very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you right now.

Hi, Selby, I'm sorry to heart that. I know that feeling. I hv a pom myself. He still alive tough. He's like a son to me. I love him so much that I even don't want to think that he might die later.. My suggestion for you though, you can have another pom, but don't compare it with your previous pom. If you think you might compare them, be patient then... G luck!
warm regards,
