earth is crying.......

Hi Suresh, Welcome to mylot. Here you will find a lot of different discussions and people from all over the world and you will be surprised to note that irrespective of our difference, people are basically the same everywhere. You will also find many discussions where people are genuinely expressing their anger and frustration and the degradation of nature and giving links to site that organize such protests and you can just put in your signature. Very recently, I put in my signature to a campaign against whaling by Japan and it gave me immense pleasure to do so. At home, I am always teaching my son the values of protecting nature and nurturing it for the future. He is very much interested in gardening so I think he will do his bit for mother nature when he grows up. If you are from India, I am sure you will understand the basic reason why our country looks and feels so polluted. Huge population coupled with rampant corruption is killing India slowly but surely. When most of the tax-payers’ money is going to private coffers and the govt. is slow on population control coz more population means more vote, you cant spend on parks and sanctuaries. You have got mouths to feed and bodies to clothe and cutting down trees for fuel is the cheapest option to many families. Beautiful parks and tree-lined roads are luxuries of developed countries which most of my poor brethren can never afford to have. Survival on a daily basis and dancing to the tune of corrupt politicians and living and dying on distant board-room decisions are our shared destiny.

I care about the issue. Don't be so sad. More and more people are caring about our common mother, the earth. More and more countries are taking measures to reducing the pollution,especially some developing country, for example, China. It is inevitable that the ecomonic growth can bring pollution,but we can reduce it. When you look at the sky, you can find it is becoming much more blue that before.

I know what you are saying. Yes, the majority of humans don't take the time to take care of the earth. And that is sad. However, there are many of us who are Earth Concious, we take care of our environment, we nurture it as much as possible, and we try to show others how to do the same. But it will take a long time to turn the minority into the majority. One thing about Mother Earth though.. She has a tendency to "fix" her problem areas with those "natural disasters". As a friend of mine once said.. "it's not a tidal wave, it's a flea dip!"

Hi you are right its not looking good for us, our kids, or grandkids. But keep in mind all of this is predicted in the holy bible. Even if everyone who really cared made a stand I think we would still be out numbered 1,000,000 to 1 maybe more. Hardly no one cares about important things any more its all about what you have and how much it cost. We have the resources to change but they dont care to until they wake up someday and its to late -40f or 130f outside and they say oh no we got a problem. But dont worry hopefully YHWH will save us I love YHWH and his creation.

In fact, many of people don't care what the Earth is facing. There are so many reasons. from some views, they can live at this time, it is Ok, becuase some of them are encountering huntry and cold, and as you said, they are facing the war, they cannot change anything and also had no time to think of the earth. and other of them, they think we are a small part of the earth, nothing can do, so they just let it alone and enjoy their current live. May be from below points, you can console the earth. That is more and more people are joining and taking care our mother----The Earth, you can find there are more and more movies that shows your concerns from watching TV, reading books or others. and also more and more countries also focus on the envoiroment improvment. the envoiroment has become an open and hot topic in our daily life.
