I have seen countless shooting stars. I have seen them since I was a kids, usually while camping. When I lived up on the Navajo Reservation I saw them all the time. It's so clear and dark up there. I haven't seen "big" ones that trails of green light - very pretty.

The first time I saw a shooting star was when I was on a camping trip with the Girl Guides. On the last night we all slept under the stars so there'd be less tents to take down in the morning. I remember lying there with my friends and we watched the sky as we fell asleep. Some of more knowledgeable friends also pointed out satillites and such. The most spectacular shooting star I saw was with my mum when we were waiting at a bus stop at dusk. It was a green and pink colour, it was lovely. Since then I have seen many more (due to living in the countryside away from light pollution) but those two occasions are the most memorial.

When I saw first shooting star I was a small girl. Without knowing what it is I kept staring open mouthed. Then my father who was with me at that time explained. It wasa very pretty sight. I remember that to this day. The first sight cannot be forgotten.

I really can't remember the first time I saw one no'r who I was with when it happened but, every time I get to see one, I really wish on it and so far, some have came true while others are still pending. I know hope is really conceptual within each individual but, a visual representation like that of shooting stars does really help ^_^

I used to go fishing 30 miles down the beach in South Texas, and with no lights around, we saw lots of shooting stars. At one time, I lived out in the country, me and my daughters used to lay out in the back of the pickup and watch the shooting stars. Another awesome thing about being so far down the beach, you could see the Milkyway.

I love shooting stars, living in utah, away from the big city as I'm a city boy is even better - the stars are just way more vivid when there's no other light, and when you're on the top of a mountain.

I use to work at night for a long time. When I would come home I would see one. I've seen so many theres not one that really sticks out. I was surprised that i've seen so many.

I've seen shooting many times since I was young. They said make a wish and your wish come true. I make a wish everytime I see a shooting star. Only it happens so quickly. My wish is too late.

The thing that sticks with me is one night I had been out with some friends (a fair few years ago now) we were walking back home and we saw a shooting star, which we all saw and commented on, but then we saw another and another and there was just absolutely loads of them. I dont know why there was so many but I have never seen anything like it. I remember me and friends just standing there for about 10 minutes watching all these shooting stars. You know I have never seen a shooting star since.

The first time I saw a shooting star I was not that much amazed and I really don't believe that shooting stars grant wishes.

I can't ever remember seeing one, you can hardly see the stars at night here anyway, it's too bright and foggy! :( Maybe in Donegal, aye! No lights at night there! :)

I've seen many shooting stars over the years. To me it's just beautiful. I love to lay outside on the ground staring up at the sky at night during the warmer months because it's relaxing. I get to look at all the activity up in the sky. My first shooting star was when I was 10 years old. My mom and dad had taken us outside to watch the sky and they told us to make a wish if we seen one. I still making wishes to this day, but they are simple ones that will come true, not outrageous ones wanting to wake up the next morning rich. *LOL* Although that would be nice.
